"How do we gather information about the city while staying outside?" Amalia asked.
She had some pills and amulets to suppress her aura, but they were effective only against lower-level devils.
The powerful great leader-level devil inside would likely detect them quickly if they entered.
Suddenly, Kenny Lin handed her a pill, "This should work."
"Is this... a top-grade Concealment Pill?" Amalia sniffed it.
Kenny Lin glanced at her in surprise, "Yes, it is. How did you know? It was given to me by the Sect Master, who said it might be useful for me."
Amalia chuckled, "I was just guessing. The pills from the Sect Master are supposed to be top-grade. Looks like the Sect Master had anticipated this?"
"Who knows," Kenny Lin shrugged his shoulder.
He doubted the Sect Master had foreseen everything.
Their goal was a Level Nine small city.
Considering they were only breakthroughs to the Golden Core stage and intermediate Foundation Establishment stage cultivators respectively recently, their plan to attack a devil city, even a small one like this, would be hard for others to believe.
The Sect Master had probably given him this Concealment Pill to help them sneak up on the leader-level devil.
"Is this the only one?" Amalia asked.
"Of course, there’s more than one," Kenny Lin chuckled. "I asked him for an extra one, good things come in pairs."
Amalia looked at him incredulously.
"What’s the issue?" Kenny Lin grinned, "His junior master uncle is as broke as can be. So, it’s normal for a wealthy nephew like him to support me. Unlike that old geezer who called himself my master, who gave me only one bottle of pills. At least throw in some high-grade spirit stones. With his disciple being so poor, he’s lost all face."
"Shut up, you can only say that in front of me. Say that in front of Master Lian and see if he doesn’t beat you to death." Amalia hadn’t expected this twist.
"Am I that dumb?" Kenny Lin retorted, then added, "I’ll wait until I’m stronger before I say anything to him."
"With the top-grade Concealment Pill, our chances are even higher," Amalia’s eyes lit up with a new idea.
"Taking one top-grade Concealment Pill can last half a day. Maybe we can pull it off," she said.
Kenny Lin smiled, "I’ll go surprise attack that great leader-level devil, give him my best shot, injure him badly, then lure him out of Sunshadow City, creating chaos inside. You take advantage and sneak in, hitting a few leader-level devils. If you can kill a few, do it. If that great leader-level devil returns, I’ll signal you."
Amalia hesitated.
Kenny Lin persisted, "I have the Yin-Yang Pearl protection. Even a spatial rift couldn’t kill me. What’s a great leader-level devil? Besides, if you didn’t have the defense of the Soltice Ring, I wouldn’t even suggest this."
Amalia sighed softly, "If I recall correctly, your Yin-Yang Pearl cracked again in that spatial rift."
Kenny Lin responded firmly, "That’s exactly why we should do it. The Sunshadow City may be a Level Nine small city, but it definitely has resources. With those resources, I can repair the Yin-Yang Pearl. What’s a rift compared to that?"
Amalia conceded silently this time.
Talking about the Yin-Yang Pearl, there was actually an interesting incident when they came to the Mystic Void Continent.
In order to pass through the spatial rift and reach Mystic Void Continent, Amalia accidentally activated the Solstice Ring’s defense, which helped them withstand most of the spatial force’s attacks.

Amalia quickly looked over.
Indeed, a leader-level devil comes out from Sunshadow City, accompanied by about a hundred warrior-level devils.
After exchanging a few words with another devil, it led the warrior-level devils away.
The two of them exchanged glances, feeling a stroke of luck.
"I’ll go check it out. You stay here and wait for my signal," Kenny Lin said before leaving.
Amalia hurriedly advised, "Be careful, and don’t expose yourself."

"Should we ambush them?" Amalia considered.
