Milan Geng’s face twisted in confusion, "What do you mean?"
"What do I mean?" Kenny Lin appeared behind him again, his voice now even more sinister than a demonic cultivator’s, "Of course, I mean... I tricked you. And you actually believed it? I thought you were smarter than that."
Milan Geng quickly turned around and finally saw the other person’s face.
Rani Huang followed the sound of battle and arrived near Amalia and Kenny Lin.
She then saw Kenny Lin, who had just saved her and killed a Golden Core stage demonic beast, now dealing with another demonic beast.
She searched everywhere for Milan Geng’s figure but couldn’t find him.
Thinking that Milan Geng had escaped, she suddenly heard a faint rustling sound, and Rani Huang became instantly alert.
She mistakenly thought that Milan Geng had not escaped and was hiding in the shadows, preparing for an ambush.
She immediately raised her knife, ready to strike.

"The man is dead, and the Golden Core demonic beast that threatened you is no longer a danger. You can leave now," Amalia said as she removed the storage bag from Milan Geng’s body.
Rani Huang looked up at the sky, where the battle between Kenny Lin and the Golden Core demonic beast was still raging.
However, it was clear that this demonic beast was no match for the person who had saved him, and its defeat was already apparent.
"Why did you save me?" She asked hoarsely.
Weren’t those cultivators from the righteous path supposed to see the cultivators from the demonic path as enemies and eager to eliminate them? let alone save them?
"We didn’t specifically save you. These two Golden Core stage demonic beasts, especially the Bloody Rage Beaver—its teeth are incredibly sharp and are excellent materials for artifact refining and alchemy," Amalia replied, referring to the Bloody Rage Beaver that Kenny Lin had killed at the beginning.
Although he spoke earnestly, Rani Huang didn’t believe her.
If they hadn’t intended to save her, they wouldn’t have killed Milan Geng.

"Actually, we discovered that there is also a Nascent Soul stage demonic beast in the Double Cavern Secret Realm."
This was something they had discovered by accident, and if Kenny Lin hadn’t saved him, he would never have shared such vital information with Amalia.
Amalia frowned and said, "Nascent Soul stage cultivators cannot enter the Double Cavern Secret Realm. How could there be a Nascent Soul stage demonic beast inside?"

"The Eight Stars Of Heavenly Jade Flower is likely something the Nascent Soul stage demonic beast needs. How could it have stayed hidden for so long without appearing?" Amalia asked further.
"A Nascent Soul stage demonic beast is close to transforming into human form. Their intelligence is much higher than that of Golden Core demonic beasts. It might have deliberately stayed hidden, knowing that many humans and other creatures would be eyeing the Eight Stars Of Heavenly Jade Flower," Rani Huang speculated.
Several human cultivators and demonic beings had entered the Double Cavern Secret Realm this time, including a few prodigies.
If these prodigies joined forces, even a Nascent Soul stage demonic beast might not be able to withstand them.
Amalia suddenly asked, "Is this Nascent Soul stage demonic beast at the late stage or even at the peak of the Nascent Soul stage?"

The reason she looked at her that way was because she thought that the disciples of the Light Demon Sect were indeed similar to the demonic cultivators from the Dark Enclave faction on Earth, making it hard to distinguish them as demonic cultivators just by appearance.
Rani Huang originally planned to stay until Kenny Lin had killed the Golden Core demonic beast so she could thank him personally.
