“Just order one basket for now.” Atra Blanc lowered her head again to go through the menu. “And an order of pumpkin fruit, and a portion of the thousand layer scallion pancakes…”
Purple tugged hard on her hand and ground her teeth. “Alexander, can you have some shame?”
Amused, Alexander responded, “It’s just holding your hand, how is that shameless? I’ve kissed and caressed you all over. How would you categorize that?”
Purple’s face turned pale, she felt as if she had run into the plague god and her life was doomed.
Alexander gently tickled her palm, softly coaxing, “Don’t be upset anymore, I have a gift for you.”
Even the mention of a gift could not cheer up Purple since she knew, a gift from Alexander always meant she would have no right to refuse.
On the other side, Atra Blanc had already ordered the tea snacks. When she lifted her head and noticed the siblings whispering amongst themselves, she smiled, “What’s with the secret talks? Any secrets that you can’t tell mother?”
As Alexander unassumingly held Purple’s hand under the table, he replied, “In a few days, school will start again. I have prepared a gift for Purple to start off the school year.”
Purple kept quiet and kept her head bowed, showing an indifferent attitude.
Atra Blanc ended up being more eager than Purple was, her eyes gleaming as she asked, “What gift is it?”
Alexander took out a gift box.
– He opened it, revealing a phone inside.
Purple felt like rolling her eyes. Another phone, how uncreative!
Has he gotten addicted to invading privacy? Purple scowled privately.
“Thank you, brother.” She replied in monotone.
She reached out and picked up the phone; inadvertently, a business card slipped from under the phone.
Purple didn’t pay much attention at first. However, she happened to glance at the card and noticed her name written on it.

Purple picked up the card, thoroughly studying it.
– Windscribe Information Consulting Limited, Chairman, Purple Summers.
She looked up, staring blankly at Alexander.
Alexander stroked her head lightly, chuckling, “You don’t need to put too much pressure on yourself when you go to school. You’re not inferior to anyone else.
A degree is just an extra ornament. Even if you decide to stop studying one day, you can always become a tough female president.”
His thin lips lifted into a gentle smile, “I told you, I would spoil you.”
Purple was speechless.
