Fortunate to Have You This Lifetime Chapter 867

Chapter 867: Chapter 867 Tiny Has a Companion_1

“Tiny!” Purple Summers ran out quickly, waving her hand at the crow circling the sky, “Where did you run off to? You had me worried!”

Tiny flew above Purple Summers’ head, accompanied by another crow. The two birds seemed to be chasing each other, as well as coordinating with each other, creating circular arcs in the sky.

Purple Summers was astonished.

She had just realized that Tiny hadn’t been seen for so many days because he was with his mate.

Tiny wasn’t like Cleo. Cleo was a breed of pet python, while Tiny still retained his wild nature. Purple Summers never intended to curb that wild nature, always letting him roam free. He regarded Purple Summers as his owner, but he didn’t cling to her like a cat or dog would; he always found his own fun outside.

Tiny, hearing Purple Summers’ shout, swooped down in front of her. His mate remained cautious, perching on a nearby branch.

After a long absence, Tiny seemed very excited to see Purple Summers and hopped over to nibble on the ears of her plush slippers.

Nibbling and tugging, it was as if he was signaling Purple Summers to follow him.

Purple Summers chuckled and said, “How far is it? I just have a coat on, if it’s too far I’ll need to put on more clothes.”

On an early spring morning, there was still a chill in the air, and the garden was filled with the fresh scent of grass and trees.

Purple Summers followed Tiny step by step until they reached a large tree in the garden. Looking up, she could see a new bird nest at the top of the crown.

It was a nest newly built this year.

From Purple Summers’ angle, she couldn’t see what was in the nest, but watching Tiny and his mate fly into it and snuggle comfortably together with their wings folded, she somehow felt very warm.

It was most pleasant that Tiny had found a companion.

A faint joy soaked through Purple Summers’ heart; it was probably the first good thing she had encountered since returning to Clearwater.

Because of the good news about Tiny, the slight doubts Purple Summers had about Clyde Summers were immediately cast out of her mind.

She went inside to get some bird feed, poured some into a bowl, and placed it on the windowsill for Tiny and his mate to access at any time.

She also found a pair of binoculars, which allowed her to see the situation near the nest.

Purple Summers called Atra Blanc to share the good news. Atra Blanc was also very excited and said, “I wonder how many eggs there will be, I really want to come back and see!”

Purple Summers replied with a smile, “Why don’t you come over when you have time? It’s not far, just a drive of a few minutes. I’ll send someone to pick you up.”

Atra Blanc’s voice was hesitant, “Let’s talk about it in a few days…”

Purple Summers found this strange. Could taking care of a patient really leave no time to spare? Couldn’t other members of the Blanc Family take turns? Besides, wasn’t there a caregiver…?

Two days later, Tiny began to lie in the nest motionless, while his mate was busy flying back and forth nonstop.

Purple Summers suspected that Tiny might be incubating eggs.

She wanted to tell Atra Blanc, but the calls went unanswered.

Purple Summers thought that perhaps Atra Blanc had turned off her phone not to disturb the patient temporarily.

But when she still couldn’t get through on the third day, Purple Summers began to feel a bit panicky.

She was worried something had happened to Atra Blanc.

Purple Summers asked Manager Charles to check the exact location of the Blanc Family, intending to visit in person and see what was going on.

Cedric Spencer quickly brought back the information. He not only found the address of the Blanc Family but also discovered something else.

—Atra Blanc had a brother and a sister, but no so-called “big sister,” and there was no one sick at home.

Atra Blanc never went back to the Blanc Family!

Upon hearing this news, Purple Summers was dumbstruck and couldn’t snap out of her daze for a long time.

Why would Atra Blanc lie to her?

This lie actually had many flaws, but given Atra Blanc’s consistently kind character, Purple Summers never would have thought Atra Blanc would lie to her!

Why would she do this?!
