From Blade To Spell Chapter 64

After breakfast, the group boarded the ship once again.

Yesterday’s rain had passed, and today the sky was clear, the sea calm and glistening under the morning sun.

Aaron sat quietly on the deck, lost in thought.

Suddenly, Kelly approached and asked, "Lord Aaron, in the future... will your territory train female soldiers?"

Aaron was taken aback by the question. After a moment of reflection, he nodded, "Yes."

He looked at her and asked, "Why do you want to join the training camp?"

Kelly nodded solemnly, "Yes, Lord Aaron. I hope that when you begin training your own soldiers, we’ll be allowed to join."

Aaron replied thoughtfully, "We’ll talk about it in the future."

Then, with a smile, he added, "Kelly, bring the fishing rod and the bait."

Kelly sighed and hurried off to fetch the gear.

Meanwhile, Aaron opened the map interface. He spotted several level 1 and level 2 fish swimming in the Blue Sea.

They wouldn’t yield much experience, but it was better than doing nothing.

Suddenly, he remembered, he hadn’t checked his stats since last night.

He opened the panel and saw that his mana had only recovered just over 100 points. The rest was still regenerating.

Doing a quick mental calculation, he realized: Mana recovered at a rate of 10 points per hour.

His brows furrowed. He hadn’t expected recovery to be so slow.

He sighed, "I’ll wait until it’s fully recovered...Then I’ll upgrade the Wizard Visualization Method again."

As Aaron continued fishing, he easily caught his third fish and swiftly killed it.

Just then, the system voice echoed in his mind:

"Inventory Function has been unlocked.

All loot will now be stored directly inside the inventory upon kill.

You can retrieve items with a single thought.

However, once removed, they cannot be stored back."

Aaron was startled. He hadn’t expected another surprise from the system so soon.

Then excitement surged through him.

He remembered, he had activated the loot function when the map was upgraded to Level 3. He had almost forgotten about it, if not for the system’s timely reminder.

Following the instructions, he opened the map interface.

In the corner, a flashing bag icon caught his eye.

A new screen appeared, countless inventory grids, neatly arranged.

In the first grid, he saw a crate filled with red apples.

He sighed, then thought it through, "This could solve our food problems. And as long as I don’t remove the items, they’ll stay fresh inside."

Even better, the inventory had unlimited grids. No more worrying about space.

Still, a pang of regret tugged at him, "If only I could store anything back into the inventory... It would be incredibly useful."

Aaron sat quietly, a thoughtful look on his face.

Should he spend his experience points on upgrading the Loot Skill, or continue enhancing the Wizard Visualization Method?

The Wizard Visualization Method could help him unlock and understand more runes, but it required a hefty 4,000 experience points to reach Level 4.

On the other hand, the Loot Skill only needed 1,000 points to reach Level 2, and 2,000 more to reach Level 3.

After weighing the options, Aaron made his decision.

"Let’s see what changes Loot Level 2 brings first," He thought. "Then I’ll decide whether to invest more."

Aaron reviewed the Loot Skill:

LOOT (Passive) (Level 2) (0/2000)

Killing any enemies of Level 1 and above has a 40% chance to drop items, equipment, scrolls, or potions.

He frowned. Only a 10% increase from the previous level.

After a moment’s thought, he decided to invest again. Thᴇ link to the origɪn of this information rᴇsts ɪn novel_fіre.net

At 50%, every two kills would likely yield something.

He spent another 2,000 experience points.

LOOT (Passive) (Level 3) (0/3000)

Killing any enemies of Level 1 and above has a 50% chance to drop items, equipment, scrolls, or potions.

Aaron glanced at his remaining 5,030 experience points and chose to save them for now.

He cast his line again.

Sure enough, after catching and killing another fish, the system chimed:

"Loot skill activated. Got a bottle of wine."

Aaron’s face darkened, "Wine? Seriously? I’m still a minor..."

The notifications came in rapid succession:

"Loot skill activated. Got a bottle of wine."

"Loot skill activated. Got a bottle of wine."

"Loot skill activated. Got a crate of oranges."

"Loot skill activated. Got a piece of wood."

"Loot skill activated. Got a roll of cloth."

"Loot skill activated. Got a bottle of ink."

"Loot skill activated. Got a basket of bread."

"Loot skill activated. Got a quiver filled with Iron Arrows."

"Loot skill activated. Got a box of candles."

Aaron sighed, frustration bubbling beneath the surface.

He took a deep breath and muttered:

"Map System, turn off notifications. Only alert me for rare loot, scrolls, weapons, armor, potions, or anything mysterious."

A few minutes later, "Loot skill activated. Got a Tier 1 tiger penis."

Aaron froze. He opened the inventory and stared at the dark loot, stunned.

His face turned grim. With a sigh, he cast his line again, silently praying for something useful.

"Loot skill activated. Got a Top Tier Plant Breathing Scroll."

Aaron froze, staring at the last fish he had reeled in. He hadn’t expected this, a Knight Breathing Method, and not just any kind, Top Tier.

"Four hours of fishing... and finally something worth it," he muttered, stunned.

Then excitement surged through him.

With this scroll, not only could he cultivate his own strength, he could also train his most trusted people.

He opened the inventory.

It was packed with miscellaneous items, but surprisingly well-organized. Similar items were stacked together:

- Crates of Apples ×20

- Crates of Oranges ×10

- Baskets of Bread ×10

- Quivers Filled with Iron Arrows ×3

- Box of Iron Nails ×2

Aaron was speechless.

Most items were dull and unlit, but the Plant Breathing Scroll glowed with a golden light.

He stared at it, whispering, "Could it be... there are different grades?"

Then he noticed something else, the tiger penis flickered with a green glow.

"So even that has a grade..." he sighed.
