She was Ah Yin, the Blue Silver Emperor, who had taken human form. And nestled within her trembling arms, swaddled in cloth, was their newborn child.
Qian Xunji had received the information where they were hiding, so he took the elites of the Spirit Hall to attack them directly and capture the 100,000 year soul beast.
Qian Xunji’s lips curved into a cold smirk. His voice cut across the battlefield like a blade.

His gaze swept to the child.

The air imploded as Tang Hao’s martial soul erupted. His Martial Soul transformed into a colossal weapon, an enormous black hammer that towered like a mountain. The sheer weight of its presence bent the earth, carving trenches into the valley floor.

The valley roared. Ground and sky blurred in a tempest of shadow explosions and golden flower storms.
Tang Hao wanted to attack head on, but that explosion attack took him by surprise.

Tang Hao’s roar split the valley like a mountain cracking in half. His knees struck the ground with a thud, blood dripping down his lips as he tried to stand again. His massive frame trembled under the pressure of his injuries. Even with his Clear Sky Hammer, even with his rage, he could not hold against the combined might of three Super Douluo. His breath came in ragged gasps, body screaming for release, yet his spirit remained unbroken.
But his enemies were merciless.
Ghost Douluo’s Chimimoryo had detonated across the battlefield in waves, and its range was so vast that even Ah Yin and the infant behind Tang Hao had been swallowed by the inferno. Dust and debris swallowed the world, blotting out sight, smothering hope. For an instant, Tang Hao thought everything was lost.
Then the storm parted.
The silver-blue figure stood tall amidst the ruin, her body shimmering faintly as strands of Blue Silver Grass wove around her, protecting both mother and child. Her silver-blue hair glowed like moonlight on water. She had survived as the attack was not directed at her.
Tang Hao staggered, blood pooling beneath him as he forced himself upright. But the hammer felt heavier than mountains; his legs quivered, and he nearly collapsed again. He had even resorted to Ring Explosion, shattering the first two rings of his Clear Sky Hammer to unleash suicidal bursts of power before. Yet against three Super Douluo at that—his defiance had been crushed.
