Li Tianyi glared at him angrily, his eyes bloodshot.
"Do you know why I hit you? Didn't I tell you not to ask your grandfather for help? You just ignored my words. Tell me, why do you think I hit you?"
Li Chengyan gave a self-deprecating chuckle, his smile thin and filled with helplessness.
"Dad, at a time , you're still concerned about face." Li Chengyan analyzed the situation at hand, each word striking home: "If all we care about is face, what about the future of the company? The twenty million we invested would go down the drain too. For the year-end meeting, are you going to present the loss-ridden accounts to Grandpa? Didn't you say you wanted to surpass Li Yehan and become the most capable manager in the Li Family?"
This time, Mei Tian Sha Zi also stood by Li Chengyan's side: "Tianyi, there's some truth to what Chengyan is saying. You're the second young master of the Li Family. It's only natural to use the resources of the Li Family."
Li Ning: "Dad, others want to use such resources and can't even get them."

Mei Tian Sha Zi said, "Chengyan, in the future, just listen to your dad. Don't go against him. If you force him to do something he doesn't want to, he's bound to get angry."
"Mom, I understand." Li Chengyan did not argue either.
His starting point was not for himself, but for the company.

Mei Tian Sha Zi's eyes flickered: "You're bringing that up again, didn't we agree to let that rot in our stomachs for a lifetime?"
Li Tianyi: "That child has no drive, he's not of the Li bloodline."
"He calls you dad and came from my womb. If he's not yours, whose is he?" Mei Tian Sha Zi was infuriated, and her words lost their usual gentleness.
Li Tianyi slammed the wine glass down heavily. The anger in his action caused the glass to shatter.
Seeing this, Mei Tian Sha Zi's expression did not change, she wasn't in the mood to indulge him any longer.
"Tianyi, your words really hurt me. Ever since we returned to the Li Family, you've changed, you're nothing like you used to be."
Li Tianyi frowned: "I haven't changed."
"You say you haven't changed. Chengyan wants to help you, yet you hit him. The earlier you would never hit Chengyan, you would've praised and affirmed him."
Li Tianyi lowered his head and said nothing, and Mei Tian Sha Zi softly soothed his emotions.
"Tianyi, calm down, consider the bigger picture. If matters here aren't handled well, what will happen in the future?"
Seeing Li Tianyi not refuting anymore, Mei Tian Sha Zi sat beside him and spoke a few more words to provide emotional support.
Li Tianyi's mood shifted from dark to bright, and he began discussing how to handle upcoming matters with Mei Tian Sha Zi.
Old Mr. Li called Li Yehan and told him about helping Li Tianyi.
On the phone, Li Yehan stated his stance: "Grandfather, Second Uncle is also your child. I have no objection if you help him."
"Yehan, Grandpa knew you wouldn't mind. But there's something I need your help with." Old Mr. Li felt a bit embarrassed.
Li Yehan could already guess what Old Mr. Li meant from his words.
"You want me to transfer someone from the tech department to help Second Uncle?"

She looked up, and they made eye contact.
Li Yehan's office was too large, the largest CEO office Nan Qiao had ever seen, with steps leading to the office desk.
Li Yehan had Secretary Zhao prepare a desk next to his desk for Nan Qiao, so when she came over and had nowhere to work, she could be near him, not so far away.
Previously, he didn't feel the office was a problem, now Li Yehan just felt it was too big and would prefer it smaller.
Meeting Nan Qiao's doe-eyed gaze, Li Yehan's tone unconsciously softened: "Did you hear all that?"
"I heard, Grandfather really worries a lot for Second Uncle's family." Nan Qiao pondered, Old Mr. Li probably wanted to make up for Li Tianyi.

"Is he willing to leave?"
Nan Qiao gave Li Yehan a sidelong look: "Mr. Li, are you jealous?"
Li Yehan said nothing, his silence prompted Nan Qiao to stand up and sit on the edge of the desk, a position that eased the discomfort in her legs.
"Nan Shan is still a child, and since I'm married to you, why would you care so much about him?" Nan Qiao cupped Li Yehan's face with her hands.
