Jian Yuncheng couldn’t find a reason to argue against that. As a result, he had to come back from the restaurant by himself.
Jian Yunnao’s gaze darkened.
Jian Yuncheng also frowned. However, he didn’t say anything to comfort Jian Yunnao.
And thus, the two brothers returned to the Jian Residence. When they returned, their parents weren’t yet resting. Instead, they were waiting for them to come back home.
However, Jian Yuncheng hadn’t brought back any good news.
“Mother, father, I want to go back to school.”
On the way back home, Jian Yunnao had been thinking about this. He had finally made his decision.
“You’ve been on leave for quite some time already. It doesn’t matter if you miss out a few more days,” Jian Yuncheng replied.
Jian Yunnao shook his head and said, “I know what’s happening at school. Furthermore, I’m the one who has caused it. It doesn’t matter who spread the rumors. When it comes down to it, my sister was wrongly accused and abused by everyone because of me.”
Jian Yunnao didn’t know what he could do to make amends to the situation. However, he knew that he needed to do something,
At the very least, he should at least give an explanation about this matter to Jian Yiling.
After glancing at one another, Jian Shuxing and Wen Nuan agreed to Jian Yunnao’s request.
“Okay, that’s fine. Let’s do that once you get discharged from the hospital. After that, you can return back to school.”

After his parents agreed, Jian Yuncheng went to the institution the next day to fill in the documents for Jian Yunnao.
Rehabilitation exercises in the later stages could be done at home as long as the person visits the research institution regularly for checkups.
Coincidentally, Jian Yuncheng accidentally ran into Jian Yiling at the research institution.
However, as he knew that Jian Yiling was on good terms with Cheng Yi and Luo Xiuen, he didn’t think too much of the situation. He had heard from Grandma Jian that Luo Xiuen often went out with Jian Yiling.
As it was almost lunchtime, everyone at the research institution put down the work in their hands and headed towards the institution’s dining hall.
As there were not many researchers in the institution, the design of the institution’s dining hall was quite homely. There was a kitchen that could be used. Furthermore, the chefs in the institution could prepare the food that everyone wanted to eat.
The food here was also customized according to every individual’s preferences.
As Jian Yuncheng watched Jian Yiling, he saw that she was busy with something in the kitchen.
When Jian Yuncheng took the initiative to walk towards Jian Yiling, he discovered that she was making sushi.
The white rice balls were being squeezed by small and equally white hands.
Jian Yuncheng stood by the side and watched silently for a while.
He watched Jian Yiling plate the sushi neatly on the plate after making them.
There were several plates in front of Jian Yiling. The patterns and colors of the plates were different, however, all the plates were of the same size.
Soon, Jian Yiling finished plating her sushi. There were seven pieces of sushi on each plate.
Then, she placed all the plates onto a tray and brought them to the table.
Cheng Yi, Luo Xiuen, Professor Xu, and the other members of the institution were all given a plate.
And everyone was given a plate of sushi that they liked.
“Oh my goodness, Yiling! I love you so much! This is amazing!” Luo Xiuen cried out. It appeared as though she was ready to rush up to Jian Yiling and give her a few pecks on her face.
“Ahem, Sister En,” Cheng Yi coughed. He tried to remind Luo Xiuen that Jian Yuncheng was here. She shouldn’t be making a move on someone’s sister if her family was here.
However, Luo Xiuen wasn’t interested in Jian Yuncheng. As a result, she didn’t care about what impression her actions gave to him.
Out of all of Jian Yiling’s brothers, Luo Xiuen was only interested in Jian Yumin.
After Jian Yuncheng watched for a while, he approached Jian Yiling and said with a soft voice:
“Yiling, eldest brother is hungry too.”
The tone of his voice made it sound like he was pleading. It sounded as though he was a little child who was begging for food.
