During the first part of the conference, everyone had been seated. As Jian Yiling was seated in the first row, no one else had noticed her.
During the intermission, Jian Yiling had left her spot. As a result, Lu Yuan ended up seeing her.

For the academic exchange conference today, each guest had a fixed seat number. They could only be seated in their assigned spot.
The seats in the first row were reserved by the organizers.
