Jian Yichen was making a fair point.
“No,” Zhai Yunsheng replied.
“Why not?”
“Because this is my home. Of course, I can say no to your suggestion.”
“Well, if Yiling wants me to stay here, shouldn’t you consider what she wants?” Jian Yichen asked with a smile on his face. However, his eyes seemed evil.
If Zhai Yunsheng said that he didn’t care about Yiling’s wishes, then Jian Yichen would have the opportunity to call him out for not caring about what Jian Yiling thought.
And if Zhai Yunsheng said that he did care about Yiling’s wishes, he was going to essentially hand over the decision-making to Jian Yiling.
Of course, Jian Yiling liked Jian Yichen much more than Zhai Yunsheng did. She didn’t harbor hatred towards him.
And thus, it was highly likely that she would agree to his suggestion.
Zhai Yunsheng frowned when he heard this.
On the other hand, the smile on Jian Yichen’s face was blossoming.
If this person wasn’t Jian Yiling’s cousin, Zhai Yunsheng would have kicked him out of the apartment a long time ago. He wouldn’t be fooling around with a smile on his face.
However, he was Jian Yiling’s cousin. As a result, Zhai Yunsheng couldn’t be unreasonable.
As Zhai Yunsheng didn’t reply to him for a while, Jian Yichen turned his head to look at Jian Yiling. Then, he asked: “Look Yiling, Master Sheng doesn’t seem to have an opinion. Will you let me live here?”
Jian Yichen’s voice was pleasant sounding and enticing.
It was as if he was coaxing Jian Yiling to agree to his request.
Jian Yiling didn’t know how to respond to her cousin. She looked at Jian Yichen for a while before she looked at Zhai Yunsheng.
She didn’t know her decision.
Then, Zhai Yunsheng said: “Well, it’s not very convenient for there to be a lot of people living together. Our agreement stated that you’re my private care physician. Does a physician need to bring their family members when they’re taking care of their patient?”
Zhai Yunsheng decided to tackle the situation from another perspective. He didn’t reply to Jian Yichen’s question. Instead, he mentioned the agreement and the duties and obligations of a private care physician.
Upon hearing this, Jian Yiling nodded. She said to Jian Yichen: “This is work. It’s not convenient.”
Sure enough, it seemed as though Master Sheng understood Jian Yiling.
“Ahhh, it’s fine then,” Jian Yichen replied. The smile on his face did not diminish. It was obvious that he was someone that was not easily defeated.
Although his plan to live with them failed, Jian Yichen still stayed to have dinner with Jian Yiling and Zhai Yunsheng.
Whilst Jian Yiling prepared dinner, Jian Yichen helped her out in the kitchen. He refused to let Zhai Yunsheng into the kitchen.
As Jian Yiling and Jian Yichen prepared dinner, Zhai Yunsheng brooded on the sofa.

The next morning, when Zhai Yunsheng and Jian Yiling exited the apartment, they saw Jian Yichen again.
This time around, Jian Yichen wasn’t wearing women’s clothing. Instead, he wore casual clothes and his appearance was rather clean.
Without yesterday’s heavy makeup, Jian Yichen was quite good-looking. In fact, he didn’t even look that feminine.
Jian Yichen had the smallest frame out of the brothers in the Jian family. He was 1.76 meters in height and was a fair bit shorter than the other males in the Jian family.
His height was considered above average when compared to the rest of the population.
However, he liked to wear women’s clothing.
When he saw Jian Yiling and Zhai Yunsheng, Jian Yichen waved at the two of them: “Good morning. I just moved into the apartment opposite yours.”
One floor of this high-end residence building was separated into two apartments. Zhai Yunsheng’s apartment was numbered 2201. On the other hand, Jian Yichen’s new apartment was 2202.
Before this, 2202 had always been empty.
However, it had been bought a few days ago.
And thus, it turned out that the person who bought the apartment was Jian Yichen.
It seemed as though Jian Yichen’s visit was not something that he decided on a whim. Rather, it seemed as though he had planned everything out.
Jian Yichen walked over to Jian Yiling and said: “From now on, I will bring you to university every morning.”
