Jian Yichen left his apartment and drove towards a bar.
As soon as he entered the bar, he attracted the attention of a lot of people. In their eyes, he was a hot and sexy girl with an attractive face.
At the bar, Qin Yufan was drinking alone. Suddenly, a slender and graceful woman appeared next to her. The woman took the initiative to greet her:
“Beautiful woman, do you mind buying me a drink?”
It was a young woman’s voice. The woman’s voice was clear and mature.
“I mind,” Qin Yufan replied. She turned her head away and concentrated on her drink.
She didn’t even glance at the other person.
She had visited this bar almost every night in the past week. She sat there alone as she sipped at her drink. Qin Yufan essentially ignored everyone that approached her.
However, the people who tried to strike up a conversation with her were generally men. It was the first time that a woman tried to talk to her.
Even though it was a woman, Qin Yufan remained indifferent. She was cold and detached towards everyone.
Generally, when someone encountered such a situation, they would walk away.
There were many handsome men and beautiful women in the bar. There was no point in talking to someone who wasn’t interested in the first place.
However, the woman next to her was different from everyone else. The woman sat down and ordered herself a drink.
Her slender and fair hands gently twirled the glass of whiskey. As the ice cubes bumped against the glass, it made a crisp noise.
“Do you have something on your mind? Let me guess, is there a conflict at home? Are you not getting along with your loved ones?”
Qin Yufan turned her head around and took a good look at Jian Yichen.
“Do you know me?” Qin Yufan asked.
“Who wouldn’t know the Young Lady of the Qin family?”
“I guess.”
Qin Yufan replied before she turned back to her drink.
“So Miss Qin, is there something bothering you? Why don’t you tell me? I’m a stranger that can listen to your thoughts. Maybe, I can give you some advice as well.”
“No need. I have nothing to say to you,” Qin Yufan replied with an indifferent expression on her face.
“Hmm, then why don’t you let me read your fortune? If Miss Qin thinks I’m right, then you can pay for these drinks. If you don’t think I’m right, I will pay for these drinks.:
These words evoked some curiosity in Qin Yufan.
“Tell me about it,” Qin Yufan said. As she was originally drinking alone, she had nothing to do anyway. And thus, she was curious about what the woman wanted to do.
“Show me the palm of your hand,” Jian Yichen said.
Qin Yufan put the palm of her right hand in front of Jian Yichen.
“Miss Qin, the first half of your life went very smoothly. However, the latter half of your life will be quite bumpy. There will be many conflicts at home and in your love life as well.”
“Well, you know who I am. Shouldn’t you know these things as well?”
Was this woman trying to trick her with just those words?
Everyone who knew about the Qin Group knew that the Qin family had recently brought back an illegitimate child. This caused a lot of conflicts to arise in the Qin family.
“Miss Qin, please do not rush,” Jian Yichen said. Then, he continued: “According to your right palm, the people who you care about will die one after another. You won’t be able to get the things that you want in life. Furthermore, you will soon be imprisoned inside a house as well. In fact, you will be surrounded by no one that you can trust. Finally, at the age of twenty-seven, you will slit your wrists in the bathroom.”
“Are you trying to scare me? How about you make up a decent story first.”
Qin Yufan’s first reaction was to deny such a fortune.
However, something stirred inside of her heart.
“Miss Qin, do you really not sense the doom and misfortune that is slowly approaching you?”
“Heh, what doom and misfortune? I will never put myself in such a situation.”
Qin Yufan did not want to discuss such things with a person that she did not know.
“Well, what if I have a way to help you break free of such a fate?” Jian Yichen asked again.
