Jian Yiling looked at the lawyer in front of her. She could feel a bad premonition.
“Miss Yiling, I am the lawyer for Mr. Jian Yubo. He wishes to transfer a part of the shares under his name to your name.”
Three years ago, Jian Yubo had taken away Grandpa Jian’s shares. At the same time, he also became the Chairman of the Jian family business.
However, he handed over the management rights to Jian Yuncheng.
In the past three years, the company was well-managed by Jian Yuncheng. In fact, the value of the company increased.

He decided to hand back the shares to the rest of the Jian family.

He took the entirety of Grandpa Jian’s shares, yet in the end, he left nothing for himself.
And thus, he was severing off the only connection that he had with the Jian family.
He waited three years. Three years later, Jian Yiling, who was the youngest amongst them, had turned eighteen.
And thus, he handed everything to them. He did not leave any of the shares for the older generation.
Jian Yubo did not want his parents to get any of the money.
“Where is he?”
Jian Yiling did not want to sign the share transfer contract in front of her.
“I’m very sorry Miss Yiling. I’m unable to answer your question. I’m only Mr. Jian Yubo’s lawyer. And thus, I am only responsible for handling matters regarding the ownership of these shares. I don’t know Mr. Jian Yubo’s whereabouts.”
Jian Yiling looked at the lawyer in front of her for a while. Then she said, “I’m not signing the contract.”
“Miss Yiling, Jian Yubo is handing the shares to you for free.”
Over his career, the lawyer had seen people compete over shares. However, it was quite rare for someone to not accept shares that were given to them for free.
“I’m not signing it,” Jian Yiling repeated. Her attitude was very firm.
“Miss Yiling…” the lawyer started again. He attempted to convince Jian Yiling.
“I’m not signing it,” Jian Yiling replied again. Her reply did not change. She did not intend to say anything else to the lawyer.
And thus, the lawyer had no choice but to say: “Well, please reconsider your decision Miss Yiling. I will visit you another day.”
Then, the lawyer left.
Jian Yiling pondered about the matter for a few minutes. Then, she decided to look for Jian Yubo.
However, it was not easy to find Jian Yubo’s whereabouts.
As of now, Jian Yiling could easily locate an ordinary person’s whereabouts.

In a simple and unadorned building.
The courtyard of the building seemed to have hundreds of years of history.

The latest message on the phone was sent to him by his lawyer.

An old man walked over.
