Jian Yiling received a call from Qin Yufan. Qin Yufan wanted her to go to a karaoke room with her.
Qin Yufan’s voice sounded like she had been drinking alcohol.
As Jian Yiling was worried about Qin Yufan, she immediately rushed over.
As soon as she entered the karaoke room, Jian Yiling saw Qin Yufan sitting alone. In addition, it appeared as though she had drunk a lot of alcohol. The smell of alcohol was overwhelming.
Qin Yufan pulled Jian Yiling to her side and handed her the microphone.
“Stay with me for a while,” Qin Yufan asked. This time, her voice was rather soft. This was different from her usual voice that was filled with pride and arrogance.
“I don’t know how to sing,” Jian Yiling replied. Qin Yufan’s request was beyond Jian Yiling’s capabilities.
“Ahh, I’ll sing for you then,” Qin Yufan said as she held onto the microphone. Then, she sang to Jian Yiling with great emotion.
Although Qin Yufan’s singing was not as professional as Jian Yumin’s, her voice was still very touching.
When she got to the sad part of the song, she had tears in her eyes.
Jian Yiling could tell that Qin Yufan was not in a good mood today.
Once Qin Yufan finished singing, she put down the microphone and went to hug Jian Yiling. Then, she began to softly cry.
It seemed as though she wanted to express her stress and sadness through her tears.
Jian Yiling did not know how to react to Qin Yufan.
Her body stiffened and she remained motionless.
However, she allowed Qin Yufan to hug her and cry.
Jian Yiling did not know why Qin Yufan was hugging her. She didn’t know why she was crying either. Most importantly, she did not know how to comfort her.
Even Qin Yufan herself did not know why she lowered her defenses in front of Jian Yiling.
Recently, she once again argued with her father. However, Jian Yichen was no longer by her side when she wanted to talk to someone. In fact, he was avoiding her.

“However, it seems as though I made a fool of myself again!” Qin Yufan laughed bitterly. “I just don’t want to give up. It’s so upsetting.”
“Good luck,” Jian Yiling replied. Besides cheering her on, Jian Yiling did not know what other words she could say to Qin Yufan.
“Thank you Jian Yiling. I don’t know why but I feel very relaxed around you. I don’t have to worry that you’ll plot or scheme anything against me.”
Qin Yufan smiled bitterly as she sincerely thanked Jian Yiling.
Sometimes, loneliness could break a person.
She was thankful that she still had someone to speak to.
After accompanying Qin Yufan in the karaoke room for more than an hour, Qin Yufan’s emotions finally settled down. Then, Jian Yiling decided to send Qin Yufan back home.
On the way home, Qin Yufan received a phone call from home.
After receiving the call, Qin Yufan’s facial expression changed. Her entire body froze and she did not move at all.
