Hu Jiaojiao: “Wait, that’s so cool! They can save lives and also fly a plane?!”
Jian Yichen: “That’s nothing. My brother and my future brother-in-law also know how to fly a plane.”
Upon hearing this, Hu Jiaojiao softly commented: “A group of non-humans.”
Why and how was she amongst these talented and amazing individuals?
Jian Yiheng asked: “Then, other than the thirteen of you, are there no other members?”
Li Zhuojia also replied to this question: “Well, there is some security personnel. However, they are generally not active on the island. They’re typically only responsible for protecting the safety of our members when we’re off the island.”
Oh, so that’s how it was.
It appeared as though Lahaisen Hospital’s operations were highly confidential.
After the passenger plane flew for seven hours, Li Zhuojia announced to everyone that they would arrive at the destination soon. The plane would now begin to descend.
Everyone hurriedly looked out of their windows and sure enough, they saw a small island.
Half the island was covered with trees however, the other half was covered in buildings and other kinds of infrastructure.
There was a huge clearing that parked the planes and helicopters of Lahaisen Hospital that weren’t currently in use.
A large and new building caught everyone’s attention. This was most likely the hospital.
The exterior of the building was painted white.
Whilst looking down from a bird’s eye view, everyone could see a pool and garden near the building as well.
Then, the plane landed on the runway.
Everyone got off the plane and set foot on this mysterious island.
As soon as they got off, the crowd was amazed by the natural scenery of the island.
The sky was blue and dappled with white clouds. In addition, the sun shone on the sandy beach.
They were also surrounded by lush greenery.
In fact, it seemed as though this place was a vacation resort!
“Wow, it’s so beautiful here!” Hu Jiaojiao exclaimed. She really liked this place.
An Yang: “If I were a patient, I would also quickly recover if I stayed here for a few days.”
Jian Yichen noticed the street lamp next to him: “I’ve never seen the materials used in this street lamp.”
Upon hearing this, Li Zhuojia patiently explained: “All the buildings and infrastructure in this place is built out of special materials.”
Luo Xiuen also asked: “So is this street lamp solar-powered?”
Li Zhuojia: “It’s powered by a hybrid of solar and wind energy. Do you see that small fan in the middle of the street lamp? The small fan is used to get wind power. Sometimes, it’s very windy on this island. Therefore, wind power is a very important source of energy.”
Jian Yichen couldn’t help but comment: “Wow, this is amazing. It feels as though I’ve traveled through time and space and somehow arrived somewhere in the future.”
Li Zhuojia smiled when he heard this.
Zhai Yunsheng was also amazed at everything in front of him. However, his reaction was not exaggerated like Jian Yichen’s.
There were a lot of things used here that he had not seen elsewhere.
Everyone only managed to walk a few steps before a small car drove over to them.
Somehow, the car did not appear to have wheels. Instead, it just turned around in place.
In addition, there were only two spots in the car.
There was a driver’s seat and a passenger seat. It was a very small car.
“Sorry, I’m late.”
The person who got out of the car was Jian Yunmo.
He wore a white lab coat and the smile on his face was as bright and as warm as the sunshine on this island.
However, his smile dimmed slightly when he saw Zhai Yunsheng.
“Brother Yunmo,” Jian Yiling greeted with her soft and sweet voice.
Jian Yunmo reached out to pat Jian Yiling’s head.
As Jian Yunmo did not stay in Beijing for long, the two of them did not manage to spend a lot of time together on his previous visit.
However, as Jian Yiling came back to Lahaisen Hospital, they could spend a bit more time together this time around.
“I can only be here for an hour. I need to head back soon,” Jian Yunmo said. “Feel free to take a look around with Mr. Li later on.”
