Akisu sat on the flat bench after doing seven repetitions of bench press with twenty pounds on each side of the barbell.
"You did great." Miku handed him a face towel with an elated smile on her face.
"Miku-san seems happy." After regaining his breath, Akisu couldn't help asking.
"I mean, even though you joined the gym recently your dedication seems really inspiring. I might just make you my permanent gym partner."

Although he was initially quite nervous around Miku...more so when she let go of her jacket and showed her beautiful dainty and glistening arms, right now he felt more comfortable with her after working out with her for an hour.
The trouble he felt in his heart upon noticing the many gazes looking at her was keeping Akisu on edge...however, it also worked as a motivation for him to do his best so he doesn't embarrass Miku.
However, all his enthusiasm from before drained as a rush of excitement took its place upon hearing her offer.
"Aki-kun....you don't want to?"
It felt like a bullet just pierced his heart as he saw those droopy eyes and the way she held her hands together behind her back while swaying slightly from left to right
That gap moe was dangerous for his heart.
However, to pour water on his excitement and elation, she suddenly chuckled and said,
"Pfft- I am just joking! Don't worry."
Akisu couldn't help but feel disappointment in his heart hearing that. Although he knew that he couldn't be her regular partner given the difference of exercise they had to do....still it felt a little saddening that Miku would be chatting and laughing with someone else other than him.
Miku, unaware of the inner turmoil going through his head, picked her sipper and said, "I will refill this, real quick. Wait for me."
Without waiting for his response she walked away with her red hair swaying with each step.
Akisu couldn't help but let his eyes drop toward her round and plump butt which was getting squeezed and reformed every time she stepped forward.
'What am I....?!' Akisu hurriedly plucked his gaze away with his face turning a little red in embarrassment.
It was then when suddenly someone called out, "Ain't she a hot chick?"
Akisu frowned before turning his head and finding the same blond dude standing there who had asked Miku to partner up with him earlier.
Finding Akisu's gaze the guy also tore his eyes away from Miku and asked Akisu,
"You guys ain't dating right?"
Akisu blushed a little before shaking his head in denial.
Akisu glared at the man making such a rude comment but it didn't affect the other one as he said,
"So....are you also looking for some quick fun with her?"
Akisu frowned as he said, "What do you mean?" Despite he didn't want to, his voice came out a little heavier than his normal pitch.
The blond guy grinned before he said, "I have heard rumors that Miku has many fuck buddies....even some in the gym. Well, considering that perky ass and cushion breasts she possesses, it's no wonder men like me would be all over her~"
Turning his gaze back at Akisu, the man again said, "Although you don't look like someone who can satisfy their woman until not on viagra, I think the way Miku was smiling and talking to ya, you got a chance-"
Hearing Akisu's slow mumbling the blondie quirked his brows before asking, "Huh?"
"I said shut up! You don't have the right to talk crap about Miku-san!" This time his voice was louder than before; gaining many eyes toward the two.
"Hey, you-" The blondie got up with a serious frown on his face...only to be interrupted by Akisu's outburst,
"What me?! Do you think you will speak shit about Miku-san and I will let you?! You are the worst kind of guy who talks behind people's back since you are nothing but a pathetic closet loser-khuk!"
Suddenly, the air was knocked out of Akisu's lungs as the blondie kicked his torso.
Akisu grimaced as he clutched the side of his belly and glared at the guy.
"Shut the fuck up, you fat ass! Just because a chick talked to you nicely doesn't mean you are some kind of chad or something!"
Akisu didn't let his pain overwhelm him before he nearly dodged another punch coming right into his face.
Joining his hands in a hammer Akisu hit the blondie's side....but to no avail.
"Kahah....a sponge like you really thought you could hurt me?"
The blond held Akisu's head under his arm raised his knee and hit his face with enough force to split Akisu's lip.
"Agh!" Akisu groaned as he was thrown to the ground.
Everyone just watched the spectacle while either giggling or taking pictures. Akisu lay there on the ground helplessly as the blondie came forward and stomped his foot on his stomach.
"GUHU!!" Akisu's eyes widened as spit with some blood, shot out of his mouth.
"What happened to you now, baby elephant? Where is your bravado, eh?"
Akisu felt tears welling in his eyes but he clung to his self-control and balled his fist in anger. He couldn't cry. He won't cry!
The blondie saw the way Akisu was holding back his tears and still reluctant to surrender which made him grit his teeth.
"If that's the case...." The blondie raised his leg again, as he said and brought his foot down,
However, the blondie's foot never reached Akisu's belly for some reason and it remained suspended just inches above it.
The whispers and giggles from the crowd suddenly went silent as they felt a chilling presence from somewhere near them. They were so petrified by the presence that they didn't notice how the blondie's foot got stuck in mid-air.
Every eye, including the blondie and Akisu's, traveled toward the redhead girl who stood there with a punctured sipper in her hand and an expressionless face currently gazing at the foot that was about to land on Akisu.
Minoru has felt this kind of anger only once before. It was when he heard about the torment and trickery his sister had gone through.
And now, looking at Akisu's state, Minoru felt the same anger surging inside of him.
His first day at the gym was surely blood-pumping~
