Galaxy Domination Guide Chapter 585

The Blade Empress was a warship that completely exceeded the imagination of any person from the Star Alliance. Not only did the people of the Star Alliance seldom build a warship as gigantic as the Blade Empress, but this warship also boasted complete and ferocious firepower, capable of proper aerial and landing combat, and even equipped with four Incandescence Cannons that were outrageously powerful.

Since Bai Zhongqi had developed this weapon, he had only constructed eight of them, and half were installed on this warship.

As the largest and strongest warship on the battlefield, every flare of the Blade Empress's Incandescence Cannon signified the fall of another warship. No matter how many resources were spent in its making, how much effort the designers and workers poured into it, or how impressive its service record had been, under the incandescent blade of the Blade Empress, all were merely illusions. Their only value was to be cut down by the Blade Empress.

Not just the four Incandescence Cannons, but the frightening lethality of the seven quadruple Gauss Railguns as well; however, in comparison to the instantly lethal Incandescence Cannons, the combined firing of twenty-eight rounds was somewhat less impressive in both noise and effect. Yet, no matter where this barrage fell, nothing could withstand it.

This was the first coordinated operation by Bai Zhongqi's four military divisions, but Bai Zhongqi had already led these civilizations, each capable of stirring storms in the Galaxy, through no less than a hundred rehearsals.

The fleet of the Huixing Faction was the most spirited. After receiving orders from the Chancellor, the Huixing Faction's warships split into three formations and pierced through the Star Alliance's 95th Army Corps fleet like arrows. Although space combat mainly consisted of exchanges of firepower, the layers and effects of the firepower determined the outcome of the battle.

The Huixing Faction fleet, known for its precise accuracy, took on the role of artillery on the battlefield. Bian Zhongqi's side, already outnumbering the enemy by five times, demonstrated a firepower strategy beyond imagination. The Huixing Faction fleet was divided among various formations, continuously launching suppressive fire at the 95th Army Corps fleet, covering the assaulting maneuvers of the Huixing Faction fleet.

The Taurus was directly destroyed, and the army corps leader Lai Zhicun was killed, with even all the high-ranking officers in the flagship's command center directly perishing in battle. Command automatically passed to the next ranking officer, who now had a layer of fine sweat on his face, but his pores seemed like broken faucets, continuously leaking sweat.

The 95th Army Corps had never faced such a disadvantage since its formation, nor had they encountered a militarily precise and well-coordinated opponent. The Star Alliance, essentially a new civilization grafted from Earth and various other lower and even primitive civilizations onto Iridium Star Civilization, though it possessed five thousand years of Iridium military heritage, ultimately lacked some maturity. Especially after the changes at Wuyagong, when Xiao Yu purged the Universe Army, restructuring the Star Alliance military into corps. While it was effortless against backward civilizations and held its own against some high-level civilizations,

Yet, the combination of Bai Zhongqi leading the Swarm Ships along with the four Military Lords proved to have a deeper foundation. Bai Zhongqi's choice of the four Military Lords wasn't merely because they were willing to align with him; their military expertise was particularly pleasing to him. The Swarm's approach, bluntly put, was brute forcing through sheer numbers and fearlessness, focusing solely on quantity and level. However, each of the armies under the four Military Lords had their own specialty, and under Bai Zhongqi's leadership, they shone brilliantly together.

Under the barrage and cutting of the Huixing Faction, the three-route formation of the Huixing Faction successfully cut through the majority of the Star Alliance's 95th Army Corps fleet. The acting commander of the corps fleet involuntarily closed his eyes, clueless about how the mountain would roll down next, but with the fleet's formation already breached, he had no chance of victory.

Caught in the impact formation of the Huixing Faction was the fleet of the Decisive Star. The Decisive Star warships were not known for their firepower, but Bai Zhongqi sent them not for firing. Each of the Decisive Star warships was a node, their role was not to fight, but to alter the battlefield's terrain.

Two light screens extended from the Decisive Star Warship, and these were definitely not mere barriers; space in the universe is not two-dimensional, such barriers would surely not hold. In fact, these light screens were the "Blocking Field" of the Decisive Star Warship, a technology of the high-level civilization known as the Decisive Star Civilization, which resembled sprouting beans. This Blocking Field, which impressed Bai Zhongqi greatly with its intelligence, was the closest thing he had ever seen to completely shattering the fabric of space. Several different Blocking Fields disabled the ability of enemy fleets to support each other, and even allowed the Decisive Star Battleship to release the String Tidal Phenomenon extensively, causing abnormal energy fluctuations in space and reducing the attacking and defending capabilities of the enemy ships.

Aboard the warship of the 95th Legion of the Star Alliance, chaos had already ensued.

"… Quantum communication is malfunctioning, key distribution has been compromised, space detection devices have failed!"

"Unable to break the light screen, the screen has characteristics of energy absorption and energy shield!"

"Requesting backup! Requesting backup! The third squadron is under focused fire from the enemy, requesting backup!"

These soldiers, once the pride of the Star Alliance, had come to the Wilds of the Galaxy expecting an easy victory. However, when they realized they had fallen into a monstrous trap, they all panicked.

The ship's officers below didn't know who exactly in the public channel was holding Lai Zhicun accountable, but they could hear the fear and panic in Lai Zhicun's orders. Lai Zhicun didn't even get the chance to continue commanding, as his ship was blown apart by the largest enemy flagship.

None of the Star Alliance's crew members and officers had ever witnessed such a ferocious and brutal main cannon barrage. The Taurus was one of the Capricorn Class battleships, one of the newest and primary ships of the Star Alliance with only 12 built. Yet, in front of the powerful enemy flagship, it was like a child without the strength to fight back, casually struck down.

The four Military Lords and the Swarm Ships, even when crushing the 95th Legion with their overwhelming power, demonstrated an exceptionally high level of military standard. The warships, organized into small squadrons, targeted different vulnerabilities of the 95th Legion's warships, while in terms of firepower, various weapons were employed in a natural and compact coordination. In defense, the Star Alliance Fleet's attacks were absorbed by the sturdiest ship in each small squadron, and the smaller escort ships layered defenses to systematically neutralize the Star Alliance Fleet's various attacks.

The vastly numerous Swarm Ships employed a tactic of concentrating fire from over two hundred warships to single out and annihilate each Star Alliance warship one by one. Although the Star Alliance warships were guided by AI systems, the vast disparity in combat strength left them utterly incapable of contending with Bai Zhongqi.

Yet, as Bai Zhongqi sat in the command bridge watching one Star Alliance warship after another being destroyed, his expression revealed no pleasure. He subconsciously gripped the armrest, each Star Alliance warship sinking felt as if it were his own warship being sunk.

This was something he had long prepared to face; the hand of revenge was inevitably stained with blood he wished not to touch.
