Han Jiaxue, dressed in provocative, skimpy clothing, casually sat on the bed, her skin as smooth as white jade, seemingly a figure that one couldn't help but want to play with all the time.
"You, you're still so taken with spectacle, returning for a day and already wanting to build a city, I've never seen such luxury from you."
Wearing a wrinkled shirt, unbuttoned to reveal Bai Zhongqi's proportionate and highly defined torso, he stood by the window, casually surveying the brand-new city with a slight smile, "If others had the ability, I believe they would do the same."
Gazing at him fondly, Han Jiaxue watched as Bai Zhongqi quickly caught her drift, leaping onto the big bed, letting his child's mother wrap her arms around him. Only when she felt the solid and warm body of the man did Han Jiaxue finally feel a sense of comfort.
She rubbed her face against Bai Zhongqi's chest and asked, "I'm not sure how much strength you have now, but the Star Alliance of these years is no longer the same as it was eighteen years ago, it's truly a High Level Civilization that dominates the Lower Orion's Arm. There are over 160 recognized administrative stars by the High Council, and resource stars exceed that number by dozens of times. I've been diligently collecting intelligence on the military of the Star Alliance all these years, and now, among the legions whose names are well-known, aside from the Ninety-Fifth Legion that you've just severely damaged, there are over one hundred and ten other legions, with fleet sizes ranging from a few hundred to several thousand ships. And that's not all, Xiao Yu, holding the Supreme Command, is continually expanding the bionic human forces, and just how many warships and how many personnel the Jinwu Army has is completely a mystery to the outside world."
Her anxiety was palpable, and as she held Bai Zhongqi, her body also trembled slightly, clearly terrified by the might of the Star Alliance.
Unable to help herself, Han Jiaxue kissed Bai Zhongqi, saying anxiously, "Reuniting with you and having our daughter are now the things I care about the most. He chose some of the more critical matters to share with Han Jiaxue, including his journey through the Void to the First Universe of five thousand years ago, his discovery in the seniors' activity room that he, too, was one of the "seniors," and how he and his daughter acquired the Golden Great Sail Ship.
After listening to Bai Zhongqi's story, Han Jiaxue finally felt at ease, and flashed him a bright smile, saying, "Your luck is unbelievably good, it seems that the position of Chancellor must be reserved for you."
Bai Zhongqi smiled gently.
The might of the Star Alliance was within his expectations. In terms of expanding the influence of the Star Alliance, Xiao Yu had done a better job than Bai Zhongqi himself thought possible. Before the change in the Wuyagong, Bai Zhongqi had already planned to expand the Star Alliance's living space, becoming one of the most powerful civilizations in the Galaxy. Bai Zhongqi had planned it would take at least a century to expand the Star Alliance's influence to the Lower Orion's Arm. Yet, the usurping Chancellor controlled the Lower Orion's Arm in less than twenty years' time.
Every civilization in the Lower Orion's Arm, including a High Level Civilization that had not joined the High Council, had been defeated and assimilated by the Star Alliance, even having their nations destroyed by Xiao Yu.
"In terms of military strategy and tactics, I am probably indeed not as good as Xiao Yu," Bai Zhongqi thought to himself.
At this point, his military force was mainly composed of the Swarm led by zero, and he had already built more than 60,000 various types of warships. There were also nearly a hundred million humanoid beasts and various insectoid enslaved beasts ready for war. Now firmly established as the Chancellor's wife, Han Jiaxue asked, "How do you plan to exact this revenge? Drag the Star Alliance into a full-scale war against you?"
Bai Zhongqi shook his head, "That would probably be the dumbest method. I've got quite a few goods, and the Star Alliance is pretty rich, but if we really were to deplete our national power bit by bit, I wouldn't mind if the Swarm was wiped out, but if the Star Alliance ends up with nothing left because of this war, it would always seem like a loss that's not worth the gains."
Bai Zhongqi continued, "Killing Lai Zhicun, Xiao Yu already knows I'm back, and now he must be tossing and turning. I won't let him be tormented for so long, however. Getting rid of this fake chancellor and taking back my Empire quickly is what's real. My biggest advantage now is that I am of the Elder Race, holding in my hands both the Iridium Star Ship and the Golden Great Sail Ship, two ships capable of traversing the Void and wormhole travel. Moreover, no matter how many fleets I want to bring along, a slap on my purse, and they all fit inside my Glass Bead. That's my mobility advantage. And Xiao Yu wants to come looking for trouble with me? Is he supposed to run to the Wilds of the Galaxy? Bai Zhongqi sighed softly and said, "I'm not afraid Xiao Yu is too strong, what I fear is that this man is too shameless, and sadly, he is a despicable person."
