"You’re not a little puppy, you’re a little baby." Huo Jincheng tilted his head, stopping just a centimeter from her lips, speaking suggestively.
"Don’t get so close to me." Lu Xingzhi’s face flushed red again.
Finally back at the villa, Lu Xingzhi planned to return to her room, not wanting to face Huo Jincheng, but he pulled her back, trapping her against the wall.
"Half a month without seeing each other, aren’t you going to chat with me?"
"Didn’t we just talk?" Lu Xingzhi tried to lean back as much as possible, but she was against the wall.
Huo Jincheng hugged her waist directly, "But there’s something important I haven’t told you."
"Even though you haven’t missed me, I’ve missed you so much these days." Though Huo Jincheng’s words contained humor, his deep eyes were full of tenderness.
"Oh, I’m flattered." Lu Xingzhi dared not look down or directly meet his gaze.

"Stop saying such baffling things." Lu Xingzhi felt suffocated yet didn’t dare to speak loudly; her voice was soft, without any impact.
Huo Jincheng held Lu Xingzhi’s hand, "Alright, I won’t say it. Shall we go down to eat?"
In the end, neither of them went back to their room and headed downstairs.
Sitting in the dining room, Lu Xingzhi’s eyes curved into crescents upon seeing the dishes on the table.
There was her favorite fish, along with a dish of hairy crabs and several others she liked.
"Here." Huo Jincheng picked out the best piece of the fish for Lu Xingzhi.
After a comfortable meal, Lu Xingzhi leaned back in her chair contentedly, rubbing her belly, "I feel so full!"
"Want to take a walk?" Huo Jincheng suggested.
"No, it’s hot." During military training, Lu Xingzhi always thought about having a good meal and then sleeping well.
"It’s just past six, how about watching a movie?" Huo Jincheng asked again.
Huo Jincheng’s lips curved, "Choose between a movie or a walk!"
Can’t I choose neither?
"Let’s go for a walk then!"
"Alright, let’s go!" Huo Jincheng pulled her up, already knowing that he shouldn’t ask if Lu Xingzhi wanted to go somewhere, just let her choose.
After a lap around the backyard, Lu Xingzhi didn’t feel like moving anymore, sitting directly on a garden chair.
"I’m stuffed today, walking is tough."
"That’s why I asked you to come out and ease your digestion." Huo Jincheng sat beside her, placing his hand on her belly, "Let me rub it for you."
"Feels so good!" Lu Xingzhi squinted her eyes, feeling even more like sleeping!
