"You should hurry up and go eat!" Lu Xingzhi thought that he hadn’t had lunch yet and added, "You need to take care of yourself too."
"Okay, I’ll eat now. If I find out that you found me a love rival, when you come home, I’ll bully you hard." Huo Jincheng’s last words carried a hint of mischief, which was exactly what he intended to do.
Lu Xingzhi’s alabaster face was tinged with a blush; she now understood what Huo Jincheng’s idea of bullying meant.
"I didn’t find you a love rival," Lu Xingzhi hurriedly retorted.
"You didn’t intentionally find one. I know usually those rivals present themselves. Since Han Chengran gave you something to eat, how do you plan to return the favor?" Huo Jincheng opened the lunch Wei Yang had bought but didn’t start eating immediately; he stirred a few pieces of greens absentmindedly.
"I’m inviting him to dinner tomorrow." Lu Xingzhi’s charming voice sounded.
Upon hearing Lu Xingzhi’s response, Huo Jincheng stopped in his tracks with the chopsticks.
In his view, it would have been better just to buy something as repayment.
There’s really no need to invite someone to dinner.
"Do you want me to accompany you?" Huo Jincheng lightly coughed; he was more than willing to appear as her fiancé.
"No need, it’s just a meal after all." Lu Xingzhi declined, unaware of Huo Jincheng’s thoughts.
He wanted to accompany her.
"You should hurry and eat! I’m about to start class, so I won’t chat with you now. Bye-bye!" Lu Xingzhi checked the time and realized it was getting late.
"Bye-bye!" Huo Jincheng reluctantly hung up the phone.
Looking at the box of delicious food, he lost his appetite.
After Lu Xingzhi’s class ended, she walked out and saw Luo Qingchen not far from her classroom.

"Just half an hour’s drive." Luo Qingchen intentionally picked a restaurant that wasn’t too far from the school.
The important thing was the good ambiance there.

She just wanted to finish this meal quickly, to feel at ease.
After getting in the car, Luo Qingchen asked, "What song do you want to listen to?"
"Anything." She didn’t have any particular favorite.
"Alright." Luo Qingchen played music indiscriminately; he wasn’t a person of many words, wanting to talk to Lu Xingzhi but not knowing how to start a conversation.
Playing music at least eased the awkwardness.
