Amanda went straight to Huo Jincheng’s company building after getting off the plane; she didn’t come all this way to see anyone else.
She wore a short jacket on top and a short skirt on the bottom; in this weather, it was a bit cold.
"Amanda, I have no obligation to keep you company. I need to head back, but if you insist on staying at the company, go ahead!" Huo Jincheng’s expression didn’t change, but his words were cold.
After saying this, Huo Jincheng went directly to the underground parking lot from the elevator.
He didn’t have to meet Amanda, but out of courtesy, he went down.

"Amanda, let me introduce you; this is my fiancée." Huo Jincheng released Lu Xingzhi’s hand and placed it around her waist, speaking in Mandarin, "Zhi Zhi, this is Amanda. Not an important person, just someone we have business with."
"Hello, Amanda." Lu Xingzhi wasn’t angry or upset, smiling as she greeted Amanda.
This demonstrated her upbringing and the demeanor expected as Huo Jincheng’s fiancée.
She trusted Huo Jincheng, so she naturally didn’t take Amanda’s words to heart.
