Huo Jincheng’s expression stiffened when he heard Amanda’s nickname for Lu Xingzhi. Does every foreigner have to call her Little Angel?
Although, her appearance did suit it.
Holding Lu Xingzhi’s hand, they walked over together. Amanda greeted them to sit down and handed the menu to Lu Xingzhi.
"I’ve already ordered five dishes, this one, this one, and these three. They said these are the signature dishes." Amanda pointed to a few spots as she spoke.
"Maybe just add a vegetable dish, that should be enough!" Lu Xingzhi noticed she had ordered all meat dishes. She didn’t mind, but Huo Jincheng usually ate very lightly.
"That’s too little." Amanda took the menu back and ordered three more dishes.
If she couldn’t stop her, she could only let her be.
Once all the dishes were served, Amanda found that using chopsticks was really difficult. She tried to pick up a piece of meat but couldn’t manage it after a long struggle.
Seeing her wrestle with the chopsticks for so long, Lu Xingzhi used the communal chopsticks to pick up some food and placed it on her plate.
"You should just use a fork or a spoon!"
"Zhi Zhi, you don’t have to worry about her. Either way, she’s the one treating us to dinner, so whether she eats or not doesn’t matter." Huo Jincheng didn’t want Lu Xingzhi to take care of others; she was the one that needed to be taken care of.
"Oh! Little Angel, you’re simply amazing!" Amanda didn’t understand what Huo Jincheng said; she gave up on the chopsticks and switched to a fork, finally managing to get a piece of sweet and sour pork rib into her mouth.
Her eyes immediately lit up, "What is this, sour and sweet, it tastes really good."
"Sweet and sour ribs," Lu Xingzhi said.
Amanda ate another piece of braised pork, feeling fat but not greasy, melting in the mouth, simply wonderful, "This is so delicious, fragrant and tender. Oh my! Is this really pork?"
Amanda always thought pork was dirty, from dumb and lazy animals, never realizing how delicious its meat could be.

After finishing those two, Amanda ate a piece of boiled fish slice, and as soon as she did, tears flowed from the spiciness, swallowing the fish meat with tears in her eyes, "Oh my! This is so spicy, but at the same time, absolutely thrilling."
Amanda fanned herself and quickly drank a big gulp of water.
"Really spicy, both spicy and numbing."
After finishing the food on her plate, Amanda looked at Lu Xingzhi eagerly. Feeling unnaturally stared at, Lu Xingzhi put down her chopsticks.
She picked up the communal chopsticks again and added some more food to Amanda’s plate. This time the portion was even larger than before.
"Thank you!" Amanda buried herself in her meal again.
After the meal, it seemed Amanda enjoyed it the most.
After finishing, she even ordered a fruit salad.
With a full stomach and quenched thirst, she felt even more delightful and said to Lu Xingzhi, "Little Angel, rest assured! Because you saved me yesterday, I won’t compete with you over Olston. Although it’s quite a pity, I’m still quite principled."
