It was like something was blocking Noah's attempts. He did not rush to use the other kinds of fires he could create from his knowledge like blue and white fire. They were too dangerous for his current strength.
But instead he started decreasing the temperature of the fire.
This time the flames died down and their color started to change but to his surprise without using any special techniques he neither could change the color of the flames past the limit nor could he lower it.
He realized, What's stopping him was his Cultivation!

Since the flames were generated using the qi from his body reserves and it was not fueled by oxygen, Noah tried changing the output of the qi, thinking of it as oxygen and following the similar process.
He focused his intentions on increasing the temperature of the fire and it started to change, The temperature went past the limit. The fire changed colors as the temperature of the surroundings increased sharply.
He could feel the sharp heat on his body that started affecting him despite his high body Cultivation.
Noah did not know that even the stones were starting to melt under the heat of the qi, it was not much but there were slight burn marks on them. He was only practicing his skill with all of his focus.
Since the stones were only normal stones, it was only natural that they could not bear the burns of Qi infused fire.
Noah had to stop not because he could not increase the temperature of the fire, he had many techniques that could increase the temperature of the fire but he stopped because his body reached the limit of being able to bear the heat of the flames.
Abruptly stopping Noah changed his action and Now willed the flames to become cold. His intentions were filled in his qi as he started to feel the heat in the surroundings decreasing.
The flames turned paler and paler while Noah could feel his hands turning colder and colder because of the flame. He could feel the temperature of his body dropping sharply.
He did not go far with lowering the temperature of the flames like he did with increasing the temperature.
He just made sure his basic skill and control were back to what they used to be at his peak. It has been so long since he had to use his power like this after all.
As the time went by Noah immersed himself deep in his cultivation and lost the track of time. After the temperature control he moved to change the shapes of fire and started forming many skills from his arsenal.
He conjured fireball as a start and to increase the complexity he started compressing the size of the fireball to the point it started crystallizing.
This was not something one can achieve as they want, the mere skill showed the amount of practice Noah had done in his previous life.
After being satisfied with his work, Noah continued his training while unaware of what a certain green haired girl was planning.
At the backside of the courtyard, the gates of one of the three rooms opened as an elven looking woman with green hair peeked her head outside the room.
Seeing that the coast was clear she tried to sneak inside Noah's room and opened the door of his room. Just as she was about to enter inside she felt a hand resting on her shoulder stopped her from moving head.
"I knew you wouldn't learn!"
Hearing the familiar cold voice Elysia turned around calmly and smiled.
"Ara~ if it isn't sister Xin Yan what brought you here on this fine evening?"

Xin Yan had been resting in her room as she thought about the day's events she could not help remember the cold face Noah showed her in the morning then her mind wandered around towards the way she acted in the hall.
This was the first time something like this happened to her and she could not help but feel a little scared that she was getting darker and her personality was changing.
She did not want to become something entirely different, this change scared her. In her thought she did not know when the time flowed by and the night had arrived.
Seeing the moonlight entering from her windows Xin Yan remembered the scene she saw in the morning, the one where Noah was in the same bed as Elysia and it did not sit well with her.

Hearing the slight noise entering her senses, she went on alert mode and could help but wonder whether Elysia was going to do the same thing today as she did yesterday.
Her body moved on its own and she rushed out of the room only to see The familiar green haired elf making her way towards Noah's room.
As soon as she placed her hands on the door of Noah's room, she made her move and arrived behind Elysia at an incredible speed.
Elysia turned around with a smile on her face as if she had already known that the woman was present behind her.
That was true, Elysia's senses were not something anyone on this planet could escape. Even if they wanted to escape her senses they had to have some kind of special techniques to counter their senses.
"Ara~ if it isn't sister Xin Yan what brought you here on this fine evening?"
Xin Yan forward hearing herself being called a sister by a millennium old being. She couldn't care less about the age right now as she had more important things to ask.
"What are you doing here again?"
"Well, I want to sleep in this room? Do you want to join in with me sister Xin Yan~"
