In front of him, two Qi Gathering Realm beasts were fighting against each other.

The Bison snorted, and sparks of flames came out of its nose, making him look even more intimidated.
With just a single glance at the beast, Yuan Ming immediately knew it was the cursed Inferno Bison!!
What shocked him more was the beast fighting against him.
It was a rabbit…
No! After carefully looking, it was a hare rather than a rabbit. Despite the size difference, the spirit beast stood face to face without any fear on its face.

The Inferno Bison was not a beast to be messed with. It stomped its feet on the ground, sending flares in all directions.
The hare did not fear the flames and charged straight through them. The flames did not seem to have much effect on it.
But doing so exposed its location to the bison, who charged straight for the kill.

The bison took a deep breath before launching a wave of flame from its mouth in the direction of the little beast.
"Squeak!!"
Seeing the attack coming in its direction, the hare let out a loud screeching noise that sent waves of energy into the surroundings.
Even Yuan Ming, who heard from far away, felt his mind spinning for a moment. While the bison, who was relatively close to the attack, came to a halt.
His attack ended in between before it could touch the cunning beast.

Taking the chance, the hare closed in and attacked the bison directly, trying to kill it.
The force of the hare was surprisingly quite strong, sending its opponent a couple of steps back.
Yet it could not pierce through its tough skin.
The attack allowed the beast to come out of its shocked state.

"The bison is really angry!" Yuan Ming could not help but mutter seeing the berserk state of the beast.
Seeing that a low-level beast dared to attack it to the point of injuring it, the beast could not swallow the humiliation.

Trying to use the same attack again, the hare backed away, but the bison used its flame to block its way of retreat.

The bison moved forward and used its head to smash against the hare, trying to kill it with the force of its horns.
Although it managed to dodge the horns by twisting its body in the middle of the air, the blunt force behind the head in the middle of the horns gravely injured the beast.

The spirit beast let out a weak squealing sound while glaring at the bison with an unwilling look in its eyes.

Yuan Ming asked with a smirk on his face, trying to act cool, but his appearance did not let him fulfill his role of saving a damsel in distress.
Although the damsel was a beast instead of a woman, right now he really wanted this beast instead of a woman.
The injured hare looked at the battered human that suddenly came in front of it, saving it in confusion.
Somehow, despite its level, this spirit was somehow able to awaken its intelligence.
