The whole room dawned in silence before Ma Mingli came out of his shock and looked at Noah with pure anger and coldness. His eyes went bloodshot seeing her daughter suffering like that.
"What did you do to her?!" he roared at him, demanding an explanation. His eyes were locked on Noah as he released his Qi to pressure the boy, in his anger the man even forgot about Xin Yan .
Xin Yan wanted to move but seeing Noah shaking his head, she stopped and stayed seated. She had faith in Noah and thought that he had some kind of reason behind doing something like this.
Her eyes landed on the trembling girl on the ground and a trace of worry flashed through it, she wanted to console Ma Li a little, it was after all the nature of a mother.
Shi Jie was also angry and worried but did not say anything. Instead she rushed to her daughter's side and hugged her, giving her the warmth she needed. Right now her priority was her daughter's safety.
Feeling the familiar warmth enveloping her entire body, Ma Li trembled and hugged her mother, stuffing her face in the middle of her bosom. Shi Jie did not say anything and ran her fingers through her daughter's hair.
"Father, I am fine."
After feeling the presence of her parents, Ma Li calmed down a little. She called out to her father and stopped him from acting and shook her head, signaling him to back down.
She was surprised and also warm seeing that her father was ready to kill the boy just because he just cried a little. She was really happy to have a family like that.
She also understood what happened in the illusion was the way of the boy teaching her a lesson but she did not know the version of herself she faced in the illusion was.
It felt too real to be fake.
When she imagined what her parents would feel if something were to happen inside the mysterious domain, it broke her heart.
She sighed and tried to stand up, it was then she realized she had peed herself, her face was flushed with embarrassment.
All the grateful and admiration feelings towards the boy turned into smoke. She really wanted to scratch his face with her nails.

Ma Mingli stopped after he heard his daughter call out to him, when he turned to look at her he was stunned to see her bashful look.
He was dumbfounded seeing her daughter pouting and blushing, he did not know what happened to her and could only look at his wife for some help.
Shi Jie understood that her daughter was embarrassed because of how she had soiled herself in front of her parents and strangers.
Even though they did not mind her daughter's current state, it was natural for her to feel shameful in this situation.
Shi Jie turned to look at the handsome boy who was already back on his seat at the sofa and calmly drank his tea, her lips twitched seeing him act like nothing happened. Shaking her head she looked back at her daughter.
"Li'er are you fine?"
"I am fine, mother!" Ma Li squeaked in embarrassment, she waved her hand and made the water around her and on her dress disappear.
Her clothes were back to their original look. It looked like nothing ever happened to them. She approached the sofa and sat across the boy with a cold look on her face.
Well she tried her best but the subtle red hue of embarrassment remained on her cheeks.
Noah did not say anything and just waited for her to speak.
"I am sorry about my earlier comment, I will allow you to accompany me and I will also listen to your words inside the domain."
Now it was Ma Mingli and Shi Jie's turn to be shocked. They did not think their daughter would agree to it just like that.
The city Lord even had many plans on how he would persuade his daughter but when he saw that the boy hurt his daughter somehow, he already gave up on giving him a slot.
He felt a little weird seeing his daughter giving him the slot herself just after he made her embarrassed.
'Do I also have a temper with her acupuncture points and embarrass Shi Jie to make her agree with my thoughts.'
He could not help but think if he was able to learn the trick he would not have the headache dealing with this mother and daughter.

Ma Li was little relieved hearing those words, with their previous exchange, she 'realized' that his mastery over 'illusion arts' was terrifying and she could not even make a move against him.
