I wasn't willing to open my eyes and not want to as well.
I couldn't accept the truth that I was going to face.
Seeing that I was still unresponsive after my birth, the maid began to tremble and said,
"Madam, the baby isn't moving at all, nor is it crying... I thin-"
"Give me my child."
Then a very weak but a voice filled with motherly love rang in my ears.
The maid carefully handed me over to the woman lying on the bed.
Taking the little me into her arms, she carefully and lovingly embraced my small body.
My body was too fragile and she embraced me so gently that I was beginning to feel so many different emotions that I was unaware of.
"My baby~," She said with deep affection.
And gave a peck on my head.
Feeling the soft embrace and the new feeling that was filling my heart with warmth, I couldn't help but want to open my eyes and look at the person who was before me.
I was struggling to even open my eyes and it took me a few seconds to open them.
The scene in front of me was blurry at first, but all of it soon came to light.
I can see it.
The smile of the woman who was looking at me so lovingly that all of the hatred I was feeling just a moment ago vanished away.
And my doubt was correct, she was the same hero who had killed me just a moment ago.
Well, that was what I thought, but it can be said that a lot of time has passed now cause she wasn't pregnant when fighting with me, and the maid said it has been 2 years since she was pregnant.
First of all, 2 years....? That sounds ridiculous. The time a baby is inside his mother's stomach is only 7-9 months.
But that wasn't what I had in mind right now.
The hero was looking pale, too pale. It was natural for a woman to feel weakness after giving birth to a newborn, but she seemed too weak.
And how did she survive my attack?
I am sure the spell was cast perfectly, so how?
And what happened to 'her'? Is she fine?

It was the voice of another woman that came congratulating her, but this voice...
It was too familiar to me.
I hurriedly turned my small head to look at her and...
It was her.
Those mischievous and alluring fox-like eyes, her light pink hair that cascaded to her hips with a hint of mint to it.
And that voice, that can burn the flames of desires inside any man.
She is still alive.
Unknowingly, without being able to control myself, I called for her.
"Ga ga...?"
The hell. I forgot I am a child right now. So there is no way for me to tell her that I am the demon king.
"It seems like the young master is rather fond of me, miss. Why don't you give him to me, I will take good care of him for you."
I do not have any idea how much time has passed, but she is still the same. Her way of speaking to others as if she stands above all of them is still the same.
Many times, I had thought that she might be an empress or something.
When she said those things, the hero, who seemed pale, embraced me more tightly, looked at her sharply and responded.
"You do not need to worry about my child. I, his mother, am enough to take care of him."
This might be me overthinking, but it seems there is a conflict between these two.
"You guys should stop now. She has just given birth, so let's let her rest for now. Can I request you all to go outside? I have something to discuss with her."
It was the voice of another woman that came from behind me.
As soon as everyone heard her, all of them bowed their head and went outside.
Setsuna as well, without a question, exited from the room, but before that, she gave me a weird look and smiled while looking at me and whispered something which I obviously wasn't able to hear.
'I have waited really long for you to get reborn, brother. I do not care what you do in this life, I will make you mine. And now, when I can actually have access to my power, it will be really easy.'
Nor did I know what was in her mind at that time. My focus was on the two women that were inside the room.
After all of them left, the saintess turned serious and looked at the hero.
"How do you feel now?" She asked, concerned about the hero.
"Just a little tired. Thank you for all you have done for me. It might have been more difficult for me if you weren't here."
"There is no need of thanks between us. And I am glad to be able to help you." The saintess said that looked at me.
"He seems healthy. But is quiet, very uncommon for newborns."
"You send them out, that mustn't be just so you can have a little chat with me, right? So what is it, Ayesha?" The hero, with her weak voice, asked the saintess.
I was curiously listening to them. These two were my enemies just a moment ago(for me), but I cannot do anything besides listen to them anyway.
And the way they were talking with each other was serious. And I feel that it might concern me as well.
"Your child, Eleanor... he..."
