It was obvious what that was. But this is what I get for having high expectations, why did I even think of it like that?

After getting my expectations ruined, the usual day began again.
My strength training continued and the little amount of mana that i was receiving from Ayesha was helping me as they had expected.
The little amount of mana didn't increase my physical body only and mostly helped in the increase of my physical strength.
Everyday, I trained and trained. My body was getting toned, forming the shape of an athlete, though I was still short.
My strength increased gradually, this process continued for a whole year.
After reaching the age of 2, my training for weapons began.
As mother was the sword wielder, I was alos taught the way of sword, but as I still learning, I started with a wooden sword.
But before going to the training for the battle, I was first taught how to swing the sword.
For that, I was made to swing the sword 10,000 times daily and with proper posture.
If my posture and the way I swing the sword was I correct, I was to start again and if I couldn't finish my target for the day, I had to fulfill it the next day and if I failed again, the sum was added to the next day.
So, in truth, it was 10,000 swings a day in name only. But I quickly got the hang of it.
For months, I tauned like that, and after I was able to swing the sword with ease, the difficulty increased. The weight of the sword got heavier, the first few swings were easy, but as I swing more... it got heavier and heavier.
But I wasn't given the time for rest and had to swing, even if I had my muscles burst out.
I was wondering why would Ayesha do that, it was her who was looking after me today, but this was the day I realized just how broken I was made.
Swinging the sword without stop, the tension on my muscles became so much that when I swing it again... my skin shattered.
My forearms bleed... and the sword feel down on the sand after my fingers went numb.
It hurt, but it wasn't something I would cry over. I then looked at Ayesha, expecting a worried look on her face, but what I saw was indifference... she didn't react at all.
During these years, training with her, I got to know that, she was protective for what's dear to her, but that was true on other times, not when it is about training... she becomes completely different this time.
But this much? She isn't heartless, right?
And it was then that something happened and I got to know why they didn't hold back at all, why the training kept on getting more and more intense.
I felt a warm sensation on my hand, and when I looked down, I saw my hand getting covered with a green mana. In a blink of an eye, the spot where I was bleeding just now, healed and turned back to normal.
Regeneration?
Isn't this magic supposed to happen when someone casts a spell? But I see no one doing it and even if Ayesha was performing it, I am sure she is still not skilled enough to bypass my eyes.

Truthfully, I didn't think about that at all. But if I am regenerating, then is it using the mana that my body has absorbed till now? If that is true, then i won't ever need a mage to support me.

After my arm healed, I looked at Ayesha again and she was smiling this time. She looked at me as if thinking "As expected".
If I can heal by myself then why stop now... I continued it once again.
After 3 more years...
I turned the age of 5. The intense training was still on-going. Every day, I woke up, took the bath with mother... yeah, she still baths me, and trained till I cannot move my body, I have grown accustomed to it.
My strength is enough to easily overpower a normal mage, even 10 won't be an issue for me.
Currently, I was on the field. A iron sword on my hand. I was practising with wooden dummies, with a blind fold on.
The targets kept moving, in fact, Ayesha was moving them with mana... the task for me was to hit, no... destroy the target by sensing the mana in them.
Just sensing them wasn't getting difficult for me, as she was using mana. But what was getting difficult was that the targets were covered with a thick layer of mana and the sword I wield is just an ordinary one that doesn't even have mana sensitivity.
Still, my brute force will be enough to handle them.
The targets kept moving, some even flying over me, oh... I forgot to mention, each target held a weapon, some spears, few swords and few had hidden arrows inside them... but after training for so long, even without opening my eyes, I can sense them so clearly that it feels as if I am looking at them.
Just a few moments later, all of the dummies were destroyed by the devastating brute force of mine.
All of these dummies were almost at mid rank 2 Knight level, so I should be at rank 3 at least with just my physical strength.
