Brandon took a step forward and hugged her tightly.

Calistra remained silent, but her gaze lingered on Dhayun with a glint of curiosity.
Both of them hugged each other for a long moment.
Slowly, he pulled back and his hands are still resting on her shoulders as he looked at her new appearance.
He raised his hand to cup her face in between his palms and turned her head to left and right.
"Why do you look like a freaking elf?"
Dhayun let out a small chuckle, tilting her head slightly. "Surprised?"
"No shit, I'm surprised," Brandon muttered, still staring at her ears.
She shrugged casually "Well... Things happened."
Brandon's eye twitched. "Don't give me that... tell me idiot."
Letting out a sigh, she spoke "It is a body mutation... which is quite rare to happen while awakening."

He turned his gaze to Eira and she nodded her head "Yeah.. there are chances. Body mutation happen to some people."
Hearing this Brandon was surprised 'I see...'
Elena butted in "Never ming that. What is happening now? Do you really know her or something?"
Calistra, who had been silent the entire time, suddenly spoke "She called you 'Woonie.' That is... Korean?"
Dhayun grinned at that, "Sharp one. Yeah, it's Korean."

As he let out a sigh, he noticed that people are staring at him after the small stunt he pulled.
He could already hear the rumors starting...

The group made their way through the academy halls, passing groups of students who either whispered amongst themselves.
With a smirk, Dhayun gave a strong smack on his back, making him stumble forward a bit "You really are famous... haha."
"Urgh..." Brandon gritted his teeth as the stinging sensation from her hit lingered across his spine.
He shot back and punched her stomach "Yeah, seems so..."
Dhayun doubled over slightly and a grunt escaped her lips as the impact sent a brief shock through her body.
"Shit—!" She cursed, immediately clutching her gut.
"That fucking hurt, you asshole—!"
Her fingers lightly tapped against her stomach as she straightened up, shaking her head in amusement "Damn… your punches have gotten stronger. Way stronger than before."
"Back then, you had weak little baby punches... like getting hit by a soft breeze. But now?"
She chuckled, rolling her shoulders. "I felt that one."
He looked at her blankly. The real reason he started taking self defense training was because of her.
Watching the entire exchange unfold, Elena and Eira exchanged equally exhausted glances.
Elena muttered with a sidelong glance "Seems like they are very best friends."
"Punching and playing like that..."
Eira blinked her eyes as she looked at him "Hmmm..."
Dhagyun leaned over to him and hushed in his ear "Do you still have that scar?"
Hm? Brandon looked into her purple eyes and glanced away "Fuck off..."
Hearing this, Dhayun's eyes softened in affection and she patted his head.
