Transformed into a Snake Maiden, the Hero, with a light and supple posture, used the force of the Fiendish Goblin's strike to leap out like a fish over the dragon gate, escaping the Goblin Group's encirclement.
Yet the impact on her legs still caused a turmoil of Magic Power inside her, and even with a body forged like steel, the feeling in her calves was numb.
Although the Gleaming Scale Serpent timely bloomed an illusion of light, causing the Goblins to fall into confusion, and allowed the Hero to land steadily, she limped into a fork in the road.
But this did not mean she was safe yet.

The Hero's snake tongue flickered in and out, her ability to perceive heat sources quickly allowed her to grasp the distribution of the Goblin Group.
About half of the Goblin Group centered around the Fiendish Goblin, while the remaining half scattered nearly throughout all the sewers, all eagerly searching for her silhouette.
Concentration could mean an assault, dispersion could mean encirclement, one could say in some sense, the Goblin Group now formed an excellent military formation.
However, this special way of marching wasn't because the Goblins understood strategy or command particularly well.
It was purely because the Goblins on the outskirts wanted to be the first to touch the girl's smooth skin, thus, they spread out undirected.
While the central Goblins hoped to first suppress the girl with their leader's power, then attempt to seize the opportunity.
Yet despite different approaches, leading to the same result, regardless of the Goblin Group's rationale behind this formation, it didn't change the fact that the Hero was surrounded.
Simply escaping from the center part of the Goblins wasn't enough, she still had to break through the outer encirclement without being caught by the Fiendish Goblin!

The underground sewers of the lakeside town, which were occupied by 300 brave Goblins who fled from the forest, and turned into a den for Goblins.
