The commotion was, of course, heard by Lysandra, who was still reselling Prosthetics thanks to Shane's generosity as he had given her 100 more taels of gold.
Her hard work had certainly bore fruit, as her business had truly made her rich after the past few days had passed.
Just this morning, she received eight messages requesting specific Prosthetics to the point that she couldn't help but feel too worried that they were getting too strong.
She was quite lucky that she was able to get wealthy customers and sell them even ten times the normal price, and they still accepted it.
As she completed another deal that made her earn 2,230 Zombie Cores, she heard a commotion and immediately learned about Shane's duel with one of the Zombie Extermination Squad Leaders of the Shelter. It was quite surprising since she knew that Shane wouldn't just go around challenging anyone he saw.
'Is it a conflict? Or maybe just a practice match?' She mused as she visited the training grounds.
She soon noticed that Shane and his opponent were unarmed and realized that this was most likely just a friendly match. She also overheard the name of the person that Shane was fighting, and he was very famous.
His name was Swain, and he had actually killed a Walker Leader and Runner Leader Zombies alone! It was certainly impressive since Swain only uses a dagger as his main weapon aside from his firearms.
The referee, or perhaps one of the soldiers practicing in the area, announced.
The crowd grew silent as the duel commenced.
Swain charged forward as he seemed to be planning to catch Shane off guard!
Seeing that Shane's first reaction was to back away, Swain gained even more confidence as he released a series of punches towards Shane, who deftly sidestepped the initial strikes…
Swain then made a powerful right hook aimed at Shane's jaw. He wanted to quickly finish the battle to show their gap in strength.
However, Shane ducked just in time, feeling the rush of wind from Swain's fist.
'Not bad…' Swain thought as he continued to be on the offensive.
Then, the two fighters exchanged blows, and Swain seemed to be attacking with all his might, and Shane was just barely dodging Swain's attack with a hair's breadth. Even if Shane was also throwing punches, it wasn't aimed at defeating Swain but simply at stopping Swain's momentum as he tried to keep moving forward.
"Who is that person? How can he handle Sir Swain's offensive?!"
"Sir Swain should be level 19 already… I heard he's about to reach level 20… Furthermore, his right arm is made of black steel… A single punch from him would surely knock his opponent… It's a pity that he can't get a clean hit."

"You're not going to win Shane!" Swain shouted.
In Shane's mind, he felt that he actually didn't need to win and just show that he was capable of entering the Stoneskin Zombie's Den. However, seeing that Swain just wanted to beat him instead of testing his capabilities, he felt that he should really just end this match…
'I just hope that this matter won't blow out of proportion.' Shane thought as he observed his opponent carefully as he considered how to end this duel.
On the other hand, Lysandra wasn't too worried after seeing their match.
Swain, with his impressive height and muscular build, attempted to dominate the fight through sheer power. However, Lysandra knew that it wasn't enough to win against her Clan Leader, who could destroy a boulder with a few punches.
Soon, Swain threw a roundhouse kick, but Shane reacted quickly, blocking with his forearm and countering with a jab to Swain's ribs.
The crowd roared in approval as the intensity of the duel grew.
Shane's quick jab was then followed by a knee strike aimed at Swain's midsection.
Although the latter was in pain, he still caught Shane's knee with his arm, using the momentum to spin and deliver a backfist!
Shane blocked this strike, but he still stumbled slightly before he regained his balance.
'Survivor Skill…' Shane thought as he realized that Swain's attack was heavier than he thought.
'Right… This may be an unarmed combat, but it doesn't mean that we can't use Survivor Skills.' Shane mused.
Of course, using Force Punch that could destroy someone's internal organs wasn't a good idea as that would certainly kill the man.
As the fight progressed, Swain's confidence began to show signs of strain. He launched a flurry of attacks, but Shane had found his rhythm.
Shane then feigned a left hook, causing Swain to overcommit.
At that moment, Shane pivoted, delivering a swift kick to Swain's leg. This time, however, it was imbued with his Aura! This sudden strike made Swain momentarily lose balance.
Seizing the opportunity, Shane followed up with a swift strike on Swain's jaw!
The crowd erupted into cheers, sensing the shift in momentum.
To Shane's surprise, however, Swain suddenly burst with a powerful aura…
He mustered his strength for one last assault, charging at Shane full force.
Although it was fast, Shane, however, remained calm and focused. As Swain closed the distance, Shane stood on his ground and allowed the man to strike him!
This confused everyone, including Swain who could kill a Walker Leader Zombie with this punch!
Swain thought as he struck Shane's chest!
As everyone thought that Shane would either have his body pierced by Swain's punch or get blasted away, something unexpected happened!
The crowd gasped as Swain got thrown away and hit the dirt instead!
