'Armored Tyrant, huh…'
At this time, Shane had no time to celebrate his achievement of reaching level 30. As soon as he saw the opponent for the second stage of the event, he felt a bit unsure whether his Automated Turret could actually defeat this thing…
After all, the Turret had technology that shouldn't exist in this realm. Because of that, the Item Upgrade Crystals don't work on it.
If he wanted to increase the firepower of this Turret, it could only be done through his own Otherworldly Mechanic Talent.
The Armored Tyrant Zombie seemed really intimidating. This hulking monstrosity, clad in reinforced armor, exuded an aura that was scarier than Giant Zombies.
Shane quickly summoned his Sentinel Mk-IV Automated Turret, hoping to replicate their earlier success. The Turret whirred to life, its sensors locking onto the approaching Zombie.
After it locked into the target, Shane immediately gave permission to shoot!
Without a moment's delay, it began firing energy bullets, but to their dismay, the shots were ineffective against the Tyrant's formidable armor.
To be exact, there was another layer of invisible shield that stopped the energy bullets from hitting the Zombie. They were disappearing into nothingness before the bullets could even reach the Zombie's armor or skin.
Meanwhile, Diana and Sandra fired their pistols…
It was only to ensure that they had participation in this stage.
This time, however, Shane noticed that their bullets were capable of bypassing the invisible force field that had protected the previous zombies.
'It can block energy bullets but not physical bullets?' Shane thought for a moment before Cloud confirmed this in his mind.
Apparently, Cloud was able to analyze that Spiritual Force, Elemental Energies, and other mysterious abilities wouldn't work on this enemy…
In short, using high-caliber guns would be the best in this situation.
However, they lacked these weapons, and normal pistols lacked the penetration power needed to harm the Armored Tyrant Zombie, merely bouncing off its steel-like exterior.
Realizing the Turret was useless in this situation, Shane knew he had to take matters into his own hands.
He took out his Legendary Hatchet and threw it at the dashing Zombie!
It was blocked by the invisible shield because of its fire element, but due to its sharpness, it was able to break the defense of the Zombie and strike its shoulder without armor!
However, the injury was too shallow. Perhaps not even an inch!
Shane knew that he had to change their tactics of breaking its defense if they wanted to win this battle quickly… He then considered a few of his Skill, and his eyes lit up as he recalled the perfect Skill to try on this creature!
'Perfect… I want to try this Skill already…' Shane thought.
"Stay back and cover me!" he shouted to Diana and Sandra.
With a burst of speed, Shane activated his Phantasm Rush, charging forward with incredible velocity.
He closed the distance in an instant. His fist then started to gather energy as he triggered one of his Fusion Skills, Brawler's Fury!
His first punch contained all of his strength, but because of the Armored Tyrant's momentum, Shane had to step back as he felt his organs shaking from the impact… Nonetheless, this punch was enough to stop the Armored Tyrant's charge!
But Shane wasn't done.
He smiled at the result of his first punch, and it only took him a moment to recover. Then, before the Armored Tyrant Zombie could grab him, he unleashed a rapid series of punches.
The second and third punches were aimed at the Armored Tyrant's abdomen and didn't do much damage aside from pushing back the Armored Tyrant.
The fourth and fifth punches hit the Tyrant's palm after it tried to grab him. A few of the Armored Tyrant's bones were broken because of that. The sixth and seventh punches hit the Zombie's chest as it finally started feeling suffocated…
Well, this is Brawler's Fury, which was the fusion of Force Punch, Deadly Punch, and Taunt Skill!
The Force Punch was a skill that targeted the internal organs of his opponent, while the Deadly Punch was more of a piercing punch.
Shane smiled, seeing that he had damaged the Zombie a lot. Finally, the Brawler's Fury's ninth or last punch struck the Armored Tyrant Zombie.
It channeled 500% of his strength into a single, devastating blow!
"Take this!" Shane roared as his fist connected with the Tyrant Zombie's chest. Well, the Tyrant was a bit too tall to hit his face.
The impact was tremendous, and the Armored Tyrant Zombie's steel-like body finally crumpled under the force of Shane's punch.
The once-imposing creature collapsed to the ground, defeated!
Shane stood over the fallen Zombie, breathing heavily but triumphant. The attack just now consumed not just Spirit Points but also his stamina.

After receiving the rewards, Sandra and Diana had actually leveled up at the same time. They immediately checked their level-up rewards while Shane was looking at the same options that had appeared in front of him.
Since he had only used 220 Spirit Points so far, Shane was still filled with energy, so he decided to continue after picking up his hatchet and storing his automated Turret.
As for the corpse of the Zombie, they could not be looted like the previous Light Armored Zombies.
"Ohhh... We can still see that First Stage Leaderboard... It seemed that many teams were still struggling." Diana muttered after she saw one of the tabs in the Leaderboard.
