Chapter 778: The Desperate Vampires
“The Vampires are back! They’re diving straight for the center! Aerial Defense is not going to be easy… We need to hide underground!”
Anna’s heart skipped a beat. Vampires?! Again?!
She clutched the case of the new Aegis Serum tighter and nodded. “Go! I’ll secure the serum!”
Outside, the Eclipse Domain’s defenses had already activated and started dealing with the Vampires.

It had a translucent surface that allowed attacks from the inside to pass through, but not the other way around.
Obviously, the reason it wasn’t always activated was due to the power consumption.
It eats up a huge amount of power cores, though in this case, Spirit Stones, thanks to the conversation work made by Eiralenya, who was also working with the Mech Frame energy conversion device.
At this time, the Vampire Knights avoided any attacks from the ballistae, flamethrowers, and most projectiles from defenders due to the elevation of their attacks.

“We should hurry with our air defense…” Lukas muttered after seeing their struggling aerial defense.

The only thing between them and the Domain’s heart was the Gaia’s Defense barrier… and fifty marksmen with ten elven sharpshooters standing on the highest ramparts.
At their head stood Ibrahim.
The current leader of the internal defense unit… It was a separate unit defending the Distillation Tower located in the southern region.
“Let’s aim nice and slow… The barrier is strong… It will hold last, ensuring that each bullet hits the target!
As he said this, he loaded his revolver calmly… The weapon gleamed in the moonlight, its golden surface untarnished by war or time.
When he snapped the chamber shut, the sound carried across the wall like a promise.
“Hold steady!” He ordered as the marksmen and elves held their wapons.
“They want the Shelter Crystal! But they’ll get judgment instead. Marksmen, Elves! Take aim!”
The defenders raised their weapons as the first wave of Vampires dove toward the barrier.
Ibrahim also lifted his Golden Revolver, a gift from Shane…

With his 800 Spirit Points reserves, Ibrahim was confident to kill a lot of Vampires before they could put a crack in their barrier!
“Judgment,” he muttered before he squeezed the trigger.
The shot created a golden streak, tearing through the air. It slammed into the chest of the first Vampire, its shriek cut short as the round ignored all defenses, burning through its flesh with true damage.
The creature disintegrated mid-air into ash, scattering before it even touched the barrier.
“Reload and fire at will!” Ibrahim commanded.
The marksmen then unleashed a hail of bullets… Their coordinated fire swiftly filled the sky!
On the other hand, Elves drew enchanted silver arrows using their Epic Grade Bows and struck the Vampires…
Just like that, a few Vampires fell, as their wings were pierced…
Soon, bodies crashed harmlessly against the top of the barrier.
But more Vampires came!
It seemed that Statham was intent on destroying the shelter!
They clawed at the emerald dome, testing its strength as if trying to tear the shield open.
Ibrahim then targeted one of the Vampire Knights who didn’t die after getting hit by two arrows and a few bullets… He realized that the Vampire Knight had the power to survive even against their weakness being targeted…
With that in mind, Ibrahim knew what to do… He had to remove any of its buffs!
The bullet struck a Vampire Knight, and because of it, its body flared, all the dark enchantments empowering it instantly stripped away.
The arrow in its heart and the silver bullets in its body did their job as it crumbled and spiraled downward!
“I’ll target the Vampire Knights! Those with the armors and blood swords! Deal with the rest!”
