Their shields and health were completely wiped out in one go.
However, they fortunately had the Immortality Effect, enabling them to survive for an extra 5 seconds.
The Death Knights, due to their temporary revival ability, could absorb more damage before dying. They survived a few seconds longer than the Skeleton Monsters, but their small numbers meant these extra seconds were of little use.
Seeing his Skeleton Monsters exposed, all the Demon Beasts in the area roared frantically. Chen Mo couldn’t be bothered to pick the optimal engagement point anymore!

In an instant, the Demon Beasts unleashed volleys of spikes, blasts from Energy Cannons, or spewed Flame, Frost, Thunder, and a myriad of other chaotic attacks at the massed Skeleton Monsters.
It was almost laughably easy to kill them.
Once their numbers reached a certain point, it truly became a battle of overwhelming force.
The Flying Warcrafts hadn’t even reached their positions when the two hundred thousand Skeleton Monsters and five Death Knights were wiped out.
However, the reflective damage from their shields also killed an equal number of Demon Beasts. This was in addition to the Demon Beasts they had killed with their own attacks.
In a single, brief second, all of Chen Mo’s Skeleton Monsters, except for the Death Knights, had their shields shattered and health depleted. Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of Demon Beasts perished instantly within their ranks.
As a large swath of black fog rose, the hundreds of thousands of Demon Beasts that had just died immediately rose again and began attacking their surroundings.
Having transformed into Undead Beasts, they abruptly rose. The surrounding Demon Beasts, no longer recognizing them as allies, swarmed them.
Fortunately, since they were on the ground, they didn’t face as many simultaneous attacks as the Skeleton Monsters in the air. They could still trade casualties effectively.
The Skeleton Monsters in the sky, surviving only due to their 5 seconds of immortality, desperately tried to maximize their damage output.
For a moment, the Skeleton Monsters in the sky were completely engulfed by a dazzling barrage of attacks, their forms entirely obscured.
CRACKLING and booming sounds continuously erupted in the air, a spectacle rivaling fireworks.
But they couldn’t die within those five seconds. As they continued their assault, the Undead Beasts on the ground kept trading blows with the living Demon Beasts. The number of Undead Beasts Chen Mo had converted grew steadily.
Soon, the five seconds were up.
By this point, Chen Mo had converted over a million Undead Beasts.
But while the conversion was rapid, their death rate was also high, keeping the overall conversion speed suppressed. This was especially true when the aerial Skeleton Monsters perished, and the ranged attackers shifted their focus to the Undead Beasts on the ground. At that point, the conversion speed couldn’t keep up with the death rate.
Fortunately, the Skeleton Monsters possessed not only a 5-second Immortal Ability but also Revival.
One second after dying, they immediately rose again.
Although they revived with only 1 Health point, all their other abilities were refreshed. This meant that even if they took fatal damage again, they could still survive for another 5 seconds!
Relying on these additional 5 seconds of immortality, the Skeleton Monsters once again launched a furious offensive.
The conversion rate of Undead Beasts, which had been suppressed, began to climb once more.
Before long, the number of Undead Beasts on Chen Mo’s side had climbed to over two million.
"This speed still isn’t enough! Damn it, there are too many Demon Beasts. If only my Undead Beasts could inherit all the abilities of the Skeleton Summon, I could just steamroll them with conversions."

Two hundred thousand of them exploding together could generate at least a million Undead Beasts.
"Trying to clear this quickly is exhausting. Even though I’m certain I can pass this dungeon, it’s turned into such an intense battle. Still, it’s a good opportunity to gain experience fighting enemies that outnumber me."
As all the Skeleton Monsters died and exploded, Chen Mo, already waiting before the Teleport Portal, remained unfazed and once more activated the Unity Undead Army Skill!
This time, his luck was even better than before; The Heavenly Path’s Hint informed him that he had actually triggered the hundred-fold summoning effect of the Undead Rally passive!
"Hot damn! With this wave, I’ll cripple every last one of you!"
Chen Mo cast ’Undying Worship’ and ’Berserker Shield’ on them, then commanded the four hundred thousand Skeleton Monsters to charge headlong through the Teleport Portal.
He had to replenish his forces quickly; otherwise, the recently increased number of Undead Beasts would soon be wiped out.
