These cries, full of resentment, echoed across the water. The surface in front of Su Yan suddenly churned violently as a figure soared upwards at high speed. Then, with a loud splash, a glamorous woman in red burst out from the water. The red-clothed woman’s figure and appearance were both top-notch; she could arguably be described as a kingdom-toppling beauty, exuding the charm of an ancient belle. Her only flaw was the overwhelming malevolent aura shrouding her. She felt like a vengeful specter, ready to kill anyone who approached. The sight of her sent a chill down the spine, a creeping horror that made one’s scalp tingle.
After observing for a while, a creature information panel promptly popped up in Su Yan’s mind.

Facing the Enchanting Female Ghost’s approach, Su Yan remained calm. He silently clenched his fists beneath his clothes, ready to strike.
"My lord, here she comes! She’s coming!" Su Yan might not have been panicking, but the Female Water Ghost beneath him was terrified. If she encountered such a fearsome Enchanting Female Ghost alone, she wouldn’t last a second before being torn to shreds.
SWOOSH! SWOOSH! SWOOSH!
With gusts of chilling wind, the Enchanting Female Ghost drew closer, now less than ten meters away.

While shrieking, the Enchanting Female Ghost looked up at Su Yan, who stood just a short distance away. Upon seeing his strikingly handsome face, the ghost faltered.
Then, in the next instant, her tone shifted completely. "Ah, this... such a handsome man..."
The Enchanting Female Ghost seemed stunned. As she gazed at him, the malevolent aura around her significantly dissipated. Su Yan was a man, and she had intended to kill him. But he was so incredibly handsome that she found herself momentarily unable to act. She looked frozen, her eyes fixed on Su Yan, standing motionless.
The Enchanting Female Ghost was stunned, but the unfazed Su Yan was not. He leaped up from the Female Water Ghost beneath him and delivered two punches toward the Enchanting Female Ghost.
With two sharp thuds, the Enchanting Female Ghost—who moments before had been brimming with malevolence and appeared utterly terrifying—was instantly blown apart by Su Yan’s two punches, dissipating into a cloud of black mist.
The Enchanting Female Ghost had perished. A blood-red Soul Bead fell from where she had vanished, plopping into the water and sinking to the riverbed.
The ponytailed Female Water Ghost, seeing this, promptly dove in to retrieve it and respectfully handed it to Su Yan.
"My lord, your Soul Bead."
Su Yan didn’t speak, merely nodding. He took the Soul Bead from the Female Water Ghost and examined it closely. The Soul Bead was large, about the size of an apple, with a smooth surface and a remarkably lustrous, beautiful color. Inside, it contained a vast amount of restless, blood-red aura, thrashing about within the bead.
After inspecting it for a moment, an item information panel appeared in Su Yan’s mind.
[Semi-Legendary soul bead]: A Succubus’s Soul Bead, filled with a large amount of malevolent energy. Keeping it nearby can enhance HP and Spirit, but it may also make one more prone to rage.
Not bad, Su Yan thought. It can enhance both HP and Spirit. As for the side effects, I’ll have to see what the Devour effect is like.
Soon, several notification messages popped up in his mind.
