Fang Yi lay on the sofa, looking entirely at the mercy of Zuo Ruzhi.
Zuo Ruzhi looked around for a suitable chair but, finding none, simply knelt down beside the sofa.
And because of Zuo Ruzhi’s kneeling position, so close to Fang Yi, he could smell her scent—a faint body aroma, blended with a light perfume. These two fragrances mixed together, uniquely refreshing and making it somewhat difficult to concentrate.
"Fang Yi... let... let go of me..." Zuo Ruzhi murmured, nearly whispering.
"Ruzhi, I’m not holding you," Fang Yi said with a wry smile.
Zuo Ruzhi made some noises of acknowledgment and hurriedly tried to stand up, but her haste only led to more chaos. Barely getting up, she tumbled down again, crashing into him full-on and once more subjecting Fang Yi’s face to a wave of impact.
"Ruzhi, I can’t hold back if you keep doing this," Fang Yi said with a face of ’grievance,’ acting coy despite the advantage he had gained.
Zuo Ruzhi wanted to explain, but her body just wouldn’t cooperate.
