"Those ropes—what are they made of?" Noel wondered aloud. "The High Cardinal is clearly giving it his best, but not even someone as powerful as him can get rid of it."
The studio audience were on the edge of their seats, watching the ongoing fight.
"Oh look, it seems even Jack Arfield of Olympus is in trouble!" Noel suddenly pointed out. "Scarlet is completely dominating him!"
Doodle laughed. "Who called women the weaker gender again? Hahahaha! Get him, girl!"

Back in the game world, veins bulged across Alofonso’s face as he struggled against the rope. He used his teeth, his skills, everything he had, but nothing worked.
The High Cardinal was confused, his mind racing. ’What sort of treasure is this? Why is it so difficult to break free from it?!’
The most ironic and amusing part of everything was that Gabriel was simply standing there, not exerting strength, yet Alofonso remained trapped.
Alofonso was someone who prioritized mana and agility over raw power. His strength attribute was lacking.
As long as Gabriel’s strength stat exceeded his opponent’s, the rope was unbreakable. No matter how hard they tried, they would be trapped.
Gabriel slowly lifted his head toward the sky, watching the countdown. The day was beginning to darken. Only an hour remained before the event ended.
He quickly scanned through his inventory, searching for something useful. It was clear Alofonso wouldn’t give up without being broken first.
It didn’t take long for the red-haired young man to find something: the Blue Flower.
When Alofonso saw this, confusion spread across his face. Even those watching were curious as to what it was and why Gabriel had chosen to summon it at such a crucial moment.
Calmly, Gabriel began approaching the trapped Cardinal.
"You—what are you planning? And what the heck is that?" Alofonso growled like a beast. The flower looked harmless, yet his entire being seemed to reject it.
"Something that’ll make you do the needful," Gabriel smiled wickedly.

Slowly, Gabriel forced open the High Cardinal’s mouth against his will and took one final glance at the Blue Flower.

He squeezed the flower and forced it down the Cardinal’s throat.
"Y-you fool! Whatever you’re planning, stop this instant! If not, your relationship with the Church will worsen more than it already has! I’m warning you!" Alofonso threatened desperately.
"Let the Church be damned," Gabriel replied coldly, punching the Cardinal’s throat so the flower slipped in effortlessly.

At the viewing centers, whispers broke out the moment they heard Gabriel’s words.
"Let the Church be damned?!" a man shouted, standing up so fast his chair toppled. "That brat is crazy! No one in their right mind would say that!"
"Who is this kid? The Church has thousands of years of heritage, and he just outright challenged them?"
"He’s digging his own grave. Challenging them this early is nothing but foolishness!"
At the back, an old priest watching with folded arms muttered darkly, "Heretic. The boy has sealed his fate."
A bitter smile tugged at Damian’s lips. If the Holy Church knew Gabriel was his business partner, would that make him an enemy too?
"So much for keeping things subtle..." he chuckled bitterly.

Suddenly, everyone’s attention snapped back to the screens as Alofonso writhed on the ground, screaming.
Blood poured from his ears, eyes, and every orifice. His veins bulged, threatening to burst.
The Cardinal felt as though he had been thrown into a pit of lava.
"MAKE IT STOP!" he roared. "Make it stop! MAKE IT STOP!"
"Hand over the points," Gabriel said coldly. "Then I’ll stop the pain this moment."
Alofonso gritted his teeth, still clinging to his pride. But then the hallucinations began. When he looked up at the timer, instead of 50 minutes, it showed 10 hours.
Worse still, everything around him was blindingly bright. Pain, confusion, and fury mixed together—and with the illusions piling on, he was about to lose his sanity.
"I GIVE UP! You can have all the points—just make it stop! Make it stop already!" he pleaded, tears brimming in his eyes.
Gabriel lifted his gaze to the Inter-Guild Display Rankings.
1. Adventurer Guild - 7,800
2. Martial Palace - 5,000
3. Olympus Guild - 3,000
A smile spread across his face as he saw the standings, then shifted his attention to the timer. Thirty minutes remained.
"Make it stop now! I gave you the points—make it stop!" The High Cardinal’s wails snapped Gabriel’s focus back to him.
"Oh, about that," Gabriel smiled wryly. "I actually don’t have any antidote for it. You’ll just have to endure until the duration ends."
The Church faction prided itself on restraint, always projecting the image of holiness. But at this very moment, the High Cardinal lost all composure.
"You son of a bitch!"
