In the Small Courtyard,
Ethan finished his nurturing session for the day, condensed special blood drops, and re-cultivated his cultivation.
Currently, he is mainly focused on condensing Special Rank 4 Blood Drops that are effective on anyone below the Rank 5 Spirit Beasts or Golden Core Realm Cultivators.
Although the speed of condensing and re-cultivating inside the Small Courtyard was much slower than in the Sect or the Azure Serpent Realm, Ethan still continued with it.
'With this Special Blood Drop, I have 10 Special Rank 4 Blood Drops.'
Counting all the Special Rank 4 Blood Drops, Ethan smiled as he carefully stored them away.
'Let's re-cultivate and perfect my foundation again.'
With that thought in mind, Ethan was about to re-cultivate when he suddenly saw a silhouette moving in the shadows of rocks in the Small Courtyard.
"Night Aegis Seven, why did you come back so soon? Did you learn anything new?"
Soon, the silhouette flew off the shadow, and Ethan instantly recognized it was Night Aegis Seven from the number on the armor that Night Demon was wearing.
Since the Nine Night Demons still wanted to be called Night Aegis, Ethan added the number beside their names for proper communication.
However, it was still not enough as except for Seraphis, the remaining 10 Night Demons all looked the same…at least to Ethan's eyes.
So, he made them carve their numbers on their armors so that Ethan could instantly recognize them.
The one that returned to the courtyard was Night Aegis Seven, and Ethan remembered that the Night Demon's task was to remain dormant in Merrick's shadow and gather information regarding the corpses he left at the entrance of the Greenspire Town.
Of course, it was not just the Night Aegis Seven; the remaining eight Night Aegis were also supposed to spread out throughout Greenspire Town to observe the situation soon.
Their mission was also the same and they were supposed to inform Ethan if there were any strange movements in the town.
According to the mission, Night Aegis Seven was supposed to return to the Small Courtyard only if there was something important.
"Master, Elder Merrick and Family Head Edwin went to the Ancestor of the Lin Family. They are..."
"How can there be 11 Night Demons in my Lin Family's Courtyard?"
However, before the Night Aegis could finish his words, an angry voice resounded in the Small Courtyard.
Ethan was instantly alerted; however, before he could see the owner of the words, he could guess who it might be.
In the entire Lin Family, only four people have access to freely enter the Small Courtyard.
Except for one, Ethan was extremely familiar with the voices of three people.
So, without thinking much, Ethan could tell it was the Fourth Person and it was none other than the Current Ancestor of the Lin Family, Theodore Lin.
'Looks like Night Aegis Seven has been careless.'
Ethan knew that the Ancestor followed the Night Demon and ended up in his Small Courtyard.
'Since things have come to this…there is no use in hiding anymore.'
If Ethan wanted, he could silently escape from the small courtyard without revealing his identity.
However, he could not bring the Night Demons along with him, which meant he had to give up on his 11 Night Demons, which Ethan obviously didn't want to happen.
Although he was not a Golden Core Realm Cultivator, Ethan had no problem dealing with a Golden Core Realm Cultivator like the Ancestor of the Lin Family.
'I just hope Ancestor Theodore won't make things difficult for me.'
Ethan was not someone who bites the hand that feeds him and gave protection to his family.
So, he has no plans to kill Ancestor Theodore; instead, he wants to have a good conversation with him before leaving the Lin Family once and for all.
Ethan now has the Primordial Beast Realm, and his parents agreed to move away from the Lin Family, and now, Ethan got caught red-handed by the Ancestor of the Lin Family.
Therefore, the only option that Ethan had right now was to leave the Lin Family and make the Primordial Beast Realm his home.
"What? There are Night Demons in the Small Courtyard?"
At the same time, in another, Ethan's parents were shocked to hear the resounding words in the Small Courtyard and panicked.
"Don't worry, Mother, Father. They are good demons."
Ethan's words came from outside the room as they saw their son rush out of the mansion.

Soon, Theodore saw 11 Night Demons fly out of Ethan's shadow and respectfully greet Theodore.
Under the eyes of a Golden Core Realm Cultivator, it is very hard for the Night Demons to hide in the shadows unless their cultivation reaches the Demon Core Realm or if their [Phantom Concealment Technique] reaches the Perfection Stage like Ethan.
"T-this…who are you?"
Theodore was shocked to see that the Night Demons were under Ethan's control because there is no way demons obeyed humans unless they were puppetized.
Clearly, he could tell that these 11 Night Demons were not puppets but proper living demons.
"Ancestor, I don't know whether you believe my words or not, but I will still say one thing, 'I mean no harm to the Lin Family, and if possible, I will even repay the Lin Family for your years of protection."
Ethan respectfully informed Theodore, hoping that the other party believed his words.
"Do you think I can believe your words when you secretly bring Night Demons into my Lin Family?"
There is no way Theodore could believe those words, and he said, "Now, I understand. You are a Demon Cultivator…it is the only possible reason why those Night Demons could listen to you."
When he came to this conclusion, Theodore became furious that he only wanted one thing, and it was to kill 'Kai, the Demon Cultivator'.
'Sigh…looks like the fight is inevitable.'
