With a voice full of arrogance and lingering anger, Noah wisely kept silent, not wanting to get entangled in this couple’s argument any further.
"You don’t want to help me, what else can I do?"
Casius looked helpless, unwilling to repeat the same futile arguments with his partner.
"Is it a matter of me wanting or not wanting to help you? It’s clearly your stupid ideas and decisions. I’ve never seen such a crude and brainless brute like you.
You’re greedier than a Giant Dragon. The power you possess would make even the Ancient Dragons tremble, why can’t you be satisfied?"
Selena’s voice rose in pitch.
"If I would be satisfied with the strength of my bloodline and stop moving forward, why would you have firmly chosen such a stupid and thoughtless brute like me back then?"
Facing his furious wife, Casius instead smiled, a natural and harmonious smile Noah had never seen before. Engulfed in some beautiful memory, Casius wore a proud expression,
"Do you remember our first meeting?"
"How could I possibly forget? You muscle-brained brute, I must have been blind back then to have chosen you!"
Though Selena was still scolding, her tone had softened greatly,
"Do you know how many times my friends advised me when I went public about us, and all those rivals, they rushed to mock me?"
It was well-known in the Extraordinary System that warriors, as a close combat profession, were at the bottom of the disdain chain, easily mocked by any profession with even a hint of Spell skills.
By the standards of the current era, it indeed sounds incredible that Selena, a genius among spellcasters, would choose a warrior as her partner, as if a lofty princess chose a ragged beggar.

Casius’s smile broadened, revealing a little secret,

Selena cursed him resentfully,

Nearby, the Golden Dragon was rolling his big eyes, eavesdropping on the drama, sensing that his foster parents had quite a violent yet beautiful past, with others being the ones to suffer.
"They are just ignorant and reckless. Our mutual affection and love are none of their business. How dare they make noise in front of me!"
Casius snorted coldly, revealing an arrogance that matched his foster mother’s.
He was also a genius, and what genius isn’t proud? However, this pride is not easily shown to others, only to those on the same level as themselves.
"But now you’ve made me regret it. I’m starting to question the decision I made when I was young."
Selena’s tone no longer bore much anger, at least not to Noah’s ears, sounding more like a girl’s playful complaint, which made the Golden Dragon feel a bit sickened.
"You won’t regret it; you’re just worried about me."
Casius spoke with confidence,
"But you have to trust me, I will never disappoint anyone. Even if I lose the Titan Bloodline, I’m merely breaking some shackles. I will certainly go further and become stronger."
"Who can’t boast about that?"
Selena, in the form of a young girl, snorted softly.
"I never brag, you know that."
Casius, in his young man’s form, stepped forward and gazed at his partner,
"If I say I’ll do something, I’ll make it happen."
Selena averted her gaze, refusing to meet her partner’s eyes.

Casius reached out and took the female mage’s hand. Noah didn’t want to watch anymore, lowering his head. He suddenly wanted to try the crude skill of Dragon Car, but he guessed he couldn’t crash through.
"Wait for me to break through and become a Legend."
Selena didn’t pull away from her husband’s grasp but turned her head to gaze back at him, earnestly instructing,
"When that time comes, I’ll reconsider helping you. Before that, don’t you dare go looking for anyone, not even this little eavesdropping dragon."
Casius agreed immediately.
Thus, the couple reconciled, hand in hand, disappearing in front of the Golden Dragon, while Noah was left feeling baffled and somewhat angry,
"What does this have to do with me? Why drag me into it? Did I do something wrong? I clearly did nothing, alright?"
The Golden Dragon, grumbling inwardly, spread his wings and left this stifling place, unsuitable for any dragon to linger.
"Your Highness Noah, a Silver Dragon named Rafael wishes to visit you."
Now that he was free from mundane entanglements, Noah thought he could seize some peaceful time, but he hadn’t even had a moment’s rest when he received a message from the Great Fairy Sifreya.
"Rafael, huh? Alright, bring him to see me!"
