The remaining power above the ground was such that without a sufficiently powerful Legendary intervention to cleanse it, the land could remain poisoned for hundreds of years or longer.
The third pair of Dragon Horns, under the blessing of Word Spirit·King’s Crown, was returning to its original form. The overwhelming power like an abyss, granted by Word Spirit·Golden Throne, was gradually receding.
These are two extraordinarily powerful Word Spirits. The King’s Crown allowed Noah to temporarily taste the authority of the Dragon King, while the Golden Throne enabled Noah’s dragon body to erupt briefly, elevating his physical strength to new heights.
Only with these self-strengthening Word Spirits could Noah turn the tide in his moment of decline, which was precisely why the Mother of All Serpents’ incarnation felt regret.

"What have you been up to? How did your body become so depleted? And your spiritual power is seriously drained too."
The youthful-looking Mage circled around the Golden Dragon, whose body had grown to fifty-seven meters, even though coiled on the ground, its body height far exceeded her own, clicking her tongue in wonder.
"You are almost drained empty."
"Encountered an incarnation of an Evil Demon."
Although Noah was sure of the high status of the Mother of All Serpents, he still referred to her as an Evil Demon, and her acceptance of a blood sacrifice sufficed as reason.
Selena’s eyebrow arched lightly.
"Mother of All Serpents, do you know? And the Sitra Snake-man Empire, have you heard of it?"
"Sitra? Yes, I know. It is indeed a powerful empire. Sadly, it has existed for so long that it approaches the brink of division and dissolution."
"Division and dissolution?"
"Yes, this empire has been around for nearly four thousand years and has become so vast and bloated that even they do not understand each other internally. The factions within the empire are too numerous to imagine.
They worship over thirty deities, and any faith related to snakes is included in the empire, which indeed led Sitra to prosperity and strength, but the increasing number of beliefs also led to greater chaos.
The Mother of All Serpents you mentioned, I remember her. She is one of the serpent gods worshiped by the empire, and her status is quite significant."

"It’s okay. Although the Sitra Empire sounds frightening and is indeed quite powerful, it’s too bloated. The internal opposition and faction struggles have nearly exhausted the empire’s strength for external expansion.
The Snake-men you encountered should be only a minor sub-faction from within this empire, nothing to worry about. Now, Sitra has no motivation to expand externally.
If you encountered the empire’s Snake-men outside their controlled plane, it only means those Snake-men aren’t doing well within the empire, being excluded to do such thankless tasks."
"What about the Mother of All Serpents?"
Noah inquired further. As a Golden Dragon, he certainly didn’t care about a group of Snake-men, regardless of their empire origin. The critical issue was that Evil Demon, whose gaze lingered on him with such greed, was hard to ignore.
"Her? She’s a bit troublesome. The Mother of All Serpents is one of the first and foremost beliefs of Sitra. If she indeed desires your form, wishing to have little serpent offspring with you, then you’ll be quite busy in the future."
Selena laughed teasingly,
"But it doesn’t matter. You’ve already offended the entire Elf God System, so what difference does one more Mother of All Serpents make to you?"
