After Su Qianxun woke up, she laid in bed without doing anything for a while. She suddenly recalled the way she bumped into her older brother yesterday and smiled.
No matter what, she knew now that her older brother was still alive. Nothing was more important than this.
Again, she was the only one left in bed. Su Qianxun thought that Long Sijue had headed to work. She rolled over and planned to go back to sleep for a little while, but she heard some noises coming out of the room.
The young woman immediately sat up. She got out of bed and walked towards the door. The moment she opened the door, Long Sijue happened to be passing by. Long Sijue looked down, Su Qianxun looked up, and their gazes met.
Long Sijue extended his hands and hugged her. He kissed her forehead. “Good morning.”
“Good morning. Why are you up so early every day?” Su Qianxun raised her hand and touched the spot on her forehead that Long Sijue had just kissed. She blinked.
“There’s something I need to do.” Long Sijue kissed her hair.
“If you have something to do, why are you still here?” Su Qianxun was in an extremely good mood right now, and she did not know why. It might be because she had met her older brother the day before, and she felt as if her world was full of sunshine and rainbows right now.
“I’m worried about you.” Even though Long Sijue’s reply was very short, this made the young woman’s heart soft and mushy. He did not leave her alone in the condominium as he was worried because she seemed a little downcast yesterday.
Su Qianxun followed him to the dining room, and realized that the dining table was full of nutritious food. She asked in total disbelief, “Did you make these?”
“I made some of them. I went out to buy the rest.” Long Sijue sat her down.
“But we’re the only ones here. How are we going to finish the food?” Su Qianxun felt that he had prepared too much food.
“I don’t know what you feel like eating, so I prepared a little bit of everything.”
“I happen to feel like eating all of them, so I’ll eat a bit of everything.” Su Qianxun picked up a pair of chopsticks and grabbed a steamed bun.
Long Sijue poured her a glass of milk and placed it in front of her.
As Su Qianxun ate the steamed bun, she thought about Lin’er. She could not help but glance at Long Sijue a few times. After hesitating for a while, she put down the steamed bun and said, “I went for a meal with Lin’er and your grandfather yesterday.”
“Do get along well with Lin’er in the days to come.” Long Sijue grabbed a crystal prawn dumpling and placed it on the plate in front of her.
This had further confirmed Su Qianxun’s speculation. She could not help but mutter, “Then, you should ask your fiancée to get along well with Lin’er instead since I’ll be leaving after giving birth to his younger brother.”
Su Qianxun was certain that Long Sijue did not hear her because of how soft she was speaking. Little did she know that he had an abnormally acute sense of hearing and sight, so he heard every single word.
“How are you so certain that you would give birth to a baby boy? It might be a baby girl!” Long Sijue said flatly as he fixed his gaze on her.
This rendered Su Qianxun speechless.
Since they were on the topic, Su Qianxun decided to speak her mind. “Mr. Long, I know that I don’t have a right to comment, but I would feel really bad if I were to bottle all of this up! So, I think that it’s better for me to be straightforward!”直接跟你说了吧!”
