“Why are you here? Shouldn’t you be at the Long family’s mansion now?”
“I want to spend Chinese New Year Eve together with you.”
Su Qianxun froze when she heard what he said. ‘He wants to spend Chinese New Year Eve with me?
‘Shouldn’t he spend it with that woman and Lin’er?’
“You have five minutes. I want to see you,” Long Sijue said as he gazed at one of the building’s windows.
“Have you had dinner?” Su Qianxun asked. She was experiencing complicated emotions.
“Not yet…”
“I need ten minutes, then!” Su Qianxun hung up after she finished speaking.
Long Sijue furrowed his eyebrows a little as he stared at his cell phone. He even had an urge to go upstairs and drag her over. He had never desired to see her as much as he did right then.
Right after Su Qianxun hung up, he started to stare at his wristwatch. He watched as the seconds ticked by…
Once Su Qianxun hung up, she immediately went to the kitchen and turned on the stove. She planned to boil the dumplings that she had deliberately set aside earlier.
When Aunt Zhang noticed, she asked, “Young mistress, do you need my help?”
“It’s okay, Aunt Zhang. I’ll do it myself.” Su Qianxun turned and smiled at Aunt Zhang.
“Young mistress, are you dating someone?” Aunt Zhang asked the same question as Su Mochen.
“I’m not. Aunt Zhang, I’ll be leaving after I’m done boiling these dumplings. Please take care of Jiye. I’ve bought him some sparklers. Do play with them along with him,” Su Qianxun said.
Aunt Zhang hummed in acknowledgment and left the kitchen.
Su Qianxun placed all of the dumplings in the pot and stirred them with a pair of chopsticks. She watched as the dumplings expanded and rose to the surface of the soup. She waited for a short while before she switched off the stove. Following that, she fished all of them out of the pot and kept them in a thermos. She then poured some vinegar into a separate container.
Su Qianxun bade farewell to her younger brother and rushed out of the apartment with the thermos. However, she bumped into a man’s chest as she ran down the stairs.
She raised her head and was greeted with the handsome face that she was so familiar with. Long Sijue had obviously gotten impatient and was going upstairs to look for her.
“Young master, it’s not ten minutes yet…” Su Qianxun blinked and said.
Long Sijue gazed at her petite face. He did not understand himself either. He had only been away from her for one day, but it felt as though a century had passed.
She was right. It was not ten minutes yet, but he intended to stand in front of her apartment door so that he could see her the moment she opened it.
Long Sijue carried her and strode downstairs. After the two of them got into the car, Ye Gu immediately closed the door.
The moment they entered the car, Long Sijue impatiently planted a kiss on Su Qianxun’s petite mouth. He sucked her lips greedily as he took in her scent. Only then did he feel slightly more at ease.
Su Qianxun became delirious from the kiss, and her mind went blank…
One thing led to another…
Just as Long Sijue was about to pull down her underpants, Su Qianxun suddenly regained her senses. She dodged his kiss in a flustered manner and said, “Wait, let’s not do it first. I… I’ve brought you some dumplings. Dumplings are a must-have during Chinese New Year Eve!”
Long Sijue was panting as he raised his head to look at her. His gaze was as lustful as ever.
“Do eat the dumplings first. They’ll stick together after a while, and they won’t be delicious anymore.” Su Qianxun blinked those dark and watery orbs she called eyes, gazing at him.
Long Sijue finally released his grip on her after a few seconds. Su Qianxun looked around for the thermos she had brought with her. In the end, she found it on one of the couches in the corner of the vehicle.
Su Qianxun immediately grabbed the thermos. She took a few deep breaths to stop herself from panting.
She sat in front of Long Sijue and opened the thermos under his watchful gaze. The fat and fluffy dumplings were arranged haphazardly in the thermos, appearing super adorable…
