Chapter 637: The Match or The Tie V
The ball bounced powerfully off Mckennie’s head and flew at goal, but at the last moment, the ball flew over the crossbar.

After being pushed away by Buffon, the ball bounced narrowly past the right post and went out of play.
{Beautiful save from Buffon! The defenders couldn’t hold Hazard down, but he vehemently stood in his way} the commentator spoke excitedly as the Madrid team began to set themselves up for a corner kick.
{The clock hits the quarter of an hour mark with Uventus in possession}
True to the commentator’s words, the ball was being moved around in the center of the field with clever passes as they continuously tried to look for a way to break up the Madrid players.
Glancing at the other side of the field, Jason locked eyes with Kulusevski and he quickly signaled him to make a run forward.
Despite Jason not even being with the ball, Kulusevski didn’t hesitate and began moving to a good location where he could make a breaking run.
While Kulusevski began planning a run, Jason suddenly dropped back, asking for the ball to feet.
His movements surprised Pirlo who almost shouted at him to move back up the field, but the manager restrained himself, believing that Jason probably had a good reason for moving the way he was moving.
Ignorant of what the manager was thinking, Jason received the ball quickly from De Ligt and with his back to his marker, he feinted a move to his right before suddenly changing direction and rushing towards the left.
Kroos who was trying to block Jason from turning fell for the feint and slipped as he tried to correct himself, giving Jason enough time on the ball to pick out Kulusevsi who was already making a run forward.
Without hesitation, Jason kicked the ball with the outside of his right foot, sending a trivela pass into the right side of Madrid’s penalty box.
Kulusevski increased his pace and caught the ball off the volley, sending a ball across the face of the goal where Ronaldo and Dybala were rapidly arriving.
Unfortunately, Kulusevski had used too much power on the cross and the ball flew narrowly past Ronaldo’s leg as he attempted to catch it with the tip of his foot. ɽ𝘢ＮốʙƐȘ
{Missed everyone! What a devastating end to a well worked attack!}
{Madrid narrowly escape going behind there!} the commentator said with excitement, his tone having a trace of disappointment as he just like the Uventus fans wished Ronaldo had reached the ball.
{Truly disappointing end to that attack, all it needed was a good touch and it would have gone in} the co-commentator said, reiterating the commentator’s words.
{Uventus have a corner!} the commentator shouted as a cross from Kulusevki that went askew and almost ended in the back of the net was pushed over the crossbar by Courtois.
Cuadrado jogged over to the left corner flag to take the ball as he would be the one taking the corner.
While he was doing that, the Uventus players were arranging themselves in the penalty box to attack the corner while the Madrid players were arranging themselves to defend.
With things moving quickly, a powerful cross was soon sent into the penalty box by Cuadrado and the players of the two teams rose into the air, fighting to get to it first.
Fighting off his marker, Chiellini got his head to the ball first, directing the ball at the goal, but Courtois was watching pensively and quickly punched the ball back, just barely managing to keep it from falling past the goal line.
{Saved by Courtois! But they’re not out of danger ye- Kulusevski!!!} the commentator screamed excitedly as Kulusevski got to the loose ball and hit it back at goal.
Unfortunately, it was a tight angle and he mistimed his swing, hence he put too much power behind the ball and it flew narrowly wide of the goal.
{He gave it a go and he’s missed!}
{It was one for the highlight reels, but these types of goals are generally harder to score, especially from tight angles like that} the commentator did his job while Courtois did his, going to pick up another ball, intending to send the ball upfield with a goal kick.
{The end of the first half is fast approaching and so far, there have been no goals, but there has been no shortage of attempts from these two teams to one-up the other} the commentator said.
Meanwhile on the field, Casemiro had just received the ball from Kroos and he sent it back up the field to Modric.
Like the midfield maestro he was, Modric had already spotted a few teammates who were open before he received the ball, hence when he received the ball, he immediately picked out Benzema in the center.
As soon as he received the ball, Benzema immediately laid it off to Asensio on the right like the ball was a hot potato he didn’t want to hold onto for too long.
Glancing at Alex Sandro who was rushing forward to intercept him as soon as he received the ball, Asensio’s brain kicked into gear and he calmly waited for the ball to meet him before flicking it between Alex Sandro’s legs smoothly like a silent killer.
Alex Sandro didn’t see the move coming and he inevitably moved over the ball missing it completely while Asensio dodged him and chased after the ball, pushing it forward and rushing into Uventus’s penalty from the right side.
{He’s away and looking for a man in the center!} the commentator shouted as he saw Asensio breaking through from the right.
Spotting Benzema who was running into a dangerous position, Asensio didn’t hesitate to send the ball over.
