Nian Junting opened his page again, and this time, his ears turned bright red. His expression bloomed into a grin, and he picked up a piece of sashimi for himself. Suddenly, a drop of soy sauce dripped onto his scarf. His expression changed immediately as he frantically grabbed a napkin to clean the scarf. Unfortunately, he only managed to spread the stain.
“My scarf!” he said in exasperation. “It’s dirty now.” He looked like a child who had just broken his favorite toy.
“That’s alright, we just need to wash it,” Luo Sang chimed in quickly.
“But you made this for me with your own hands. I can’t believe I dirtied it less than three hours after I received it,” Nian Junting said, frustrated.
“Didn’t I tell you to remove it when you eat?” Luo Sang was frustrated, too.
“You gifted this to me. I want to wear it even when I’m eating,” Nian Junting said matter-of-factly.
Luo Sang was taken aback. She couldn’t bear to see him get upset like this. It made her upset as well.
When she had been in a relationship before, Yi Jingxi never treasured her gifts as Nian Junting did. He was the only one who sincerely complimented her for everything that she did.
