“He’s a Chinese singer that debuted in Korea. He’s super popular now,” Chu Jiu answered him. “He’s quite good-looking and young, 23, I think.”
Mo Liuxi lowered his head and searched him up on his phone. The search page showed many photos of Shi Xiang and pulled up his information as well. He took two looks and chuckled. “Why would anyone try to seduce a guy like him? He doesn’t look manly at all, impossible.”
Chu Jiu blurted out, “Why are you defending her? Who is she to you, exactly?”
“Someone no one should bother,” Mo Liuxi replied. “Is Shi Xiang still here in the building?”
The assistant swallowed nervously and nodded. “He’s in the recording studio.”
Mo Liuxi recalled the studio they had walked by. He lowered his face and walked towards the door of the technical department. Chu Jiu caught up with him quickly. “Are you going to look for Shi Xiang? He’s the spokesperson that my father’s company signed.”
Mo Liuxi ignored him completely and walked briskly into the elevator and arrived at the door of the recording studio. He kicked the wooden door open swiftly. The director’s assistant recognized Chu Jiu immediately and greeted him. “Master Chu, what are you doing here?”
Mo Liuxi swept into the room and his gaze landed on Shi Xiang, who was wearing a headset. He walked over and David Han rushed forward to try to stop him. “Stop right there. Who are you? How dare you barge in here like this?”
Mo Liuxi grabbed his collar and pulled him forward. He glared at him menacingly.
The director’s assistant said, flustered, “This is Shi Xiang’s assistant.”
“So, you’re from Korea? No wonder you have a plastic face,” Mo Liuxi said with disgust and then shoved David Han aside angrily. Although he was tall and skinny, he had long arms and strong muscles, and his shove pushed David Han all the way to the wall.
Mo Liuxi walked into the recording studio. Shi Xiang was already in a foul mood, as his voice recording wasn’t going too well, and he was annoyed that he was being interrupted like that. He slammed his headset onto the table and yelled, “What’s the matter with your company? Anyone can barge in here now? Aren’t you going to do something about it?”
“You are Shi Xiang, right? I heard that Xu Luosang tried to seduce you.” Mo Liuxi walked in front of him and glared at him. “Based on your looks, why would such a pretty girl like Xu Luosang be attracted to you at all? Aren’t you being a little too conceited?”
“Xu Luosang again?” Shi Xiang was getting annoyed. “I already said that I was going to make things clear. Did she find someone to take revenge on me? I don’t care who the hell you are, please get out right now, or else I don’t know what I will do to you.”
“Well, I’m going to find out what you are going to do, then,” Mo Liuxi said mockingly. He grinned smugly.
Shi Xiang looked at the man in front of him. Although he looked menacing, based on his appearance and the way he was dressed, he could tell that he was young, perhaps even younger than he was. Young little brats nowadays don’t know respect, audacious, Shi Xiang thought. Shi Xiang looked behind the man and yelled, “Are you guys going to chase him away? If not, I think we should end our partnership.”
“Don’t be angry, Shi Xiang.” The director’s assistant rushed in. He had a headache trying to figure out how to deal with this intruder. He was a guest of his CEO’s son, after all. “Master Chu, what do you think…”
“Come on, Liuxi…” Chu Jiu chuckled helplessly.
Mo Liuxi didn’t look at him but looked around the studio instead, then he said coldly, “It’s a joke that a singer is doing voice recording. Chu Jiu, let your father know, you should change him out.”
