He had never expected his woman to be targeted by some other man when she left the city to do a dubbing job. That mysterious man seemed to be rather powerful. “Did I ask you to describe him?” Nian Junting asked coldly.
“My bad.” Lu Kang slapped his own mouth.
Nian Junting said in a deep voice, “Contact Fanyu, ask them to replace Luosang. We can’t let her go back to Beijing, in case she runs into that person.”
“Miss Xu will get angry if she knows, won’t she?” said Lu Kang. “Besides, didn’t you say that you wouldn’t intervene in her work?”
Nian Junting crossed his arms before his chest and said with a vigilant look in his eyes, “For my lifelong happiness, I have no choice but to do it.” He had to destroy every man who might go after his woman before they made a move.

Four o’clock in the morning, in the train station.
The train was behind schedule but had finally arrived at the station. The train was supposed to arrive at Xia City Station at one o’clock, but it stopped on the way for all sorts of reasons and was a whole three hours late. Luosang sighed. Thankfully, Nian Junting had arranged a sleeping berth for her, or she would have been exhausted. She really underestimated how far behind schedule a train could be.
When she dragged her suitcase out of the station, a large group of people surrounded her, holding boards with station names, yelling about the prices. Luosang didn’t dare to take that kind of ride. She ignored those people, lowered her head, and walked straight forward.
Some people followed her for a couple of meters and then gave up, but a man kept following closely behind her, saying, “Pretty girl, where are you going? I’ll give you a ride. It’s cheap. I’ll give you a discount.”
“I’ve told you that someone is coming to pick me up.” Luosang walked faster.
“There’s no one. I’m telling you, you can’t get a taxi in this place.” That man wouldn’t give up.
Luosang ignored him, but walked faster. Suddenly, she bumped into the person in front of her. She raised her head in pain. Under the light of the moon and stars, Nian Junting stood in front of her with a big frown. His body was straight and sturdy like a tree.
She gave a start, and then her uneasy heart was suddenly comforted. That close to him, she sensed the familiar scent from his chest. Tiredness suddenly overwhelmed her. She so desperately wanted to lean on his chest.
Nian Junting didn’t look at her but coldly stared at the man and said, “Are you gonna force her into your car? Or are you planning to do something else?”
The man was frightened by the strong, tall Nian Junting. He took a few steps backward, then hurriedly forced his face into a smile, saying, “Brother, is she your girlfriend? I’m sorry, I thought no one was here to pick her up. I just wanted to give her a ride and earn some money. After all, it’s pretty unsafe for a girl to be alone so late at night.”
“They’d be safer if there were fewer people like you,” said Nian Junting in a cold voice. “Go away, now.”
That man took a deep, angry breath. He wanted to fight Nian Junting, but sensing the vibe from him, he flinched, turned, and left grumpily.
Luosang sighed in relief and said in a sincere voice, “Thank you.”
Nian Junting’s face was still tightened into a serious expression. “I don’t even know what to say to you. I told you to take the high-speed train or the plane, yet you insisted on saving that tiny sum of money. Do you know what kind of danger a single woman might have to face at the train station so late at night? And you’re so gorgeously dressed. Do you know how to keep a low profile?”
