Nian Junting went back into his room angrily.
He was acting like he had just swallowed a fly. Since he couldn’t lash out at Luosang now that she was pregnant, he vented his frustrations on Lu Kang. “You watched her well, didn’t you? You let someone else kiss her lips. If I were any later, would they have been French kissing?”
Although he directed his speech to Lu Kang, Luosang felt as if he were scolding her directly. “I told you, he pounced on me suddenly. I wasn’t expecting it. I was resisting him when I had the time to react.”

Nian Junting felt better, hearing her compare Yi Jingxi to a dog. He shouldn’t scold his woman, so he turned to Lu Kang. “She is silly because she is pregnant. It’s a good excuse. You didn’t do your job properly. How could you listen to a foolish woman? Do you realize what you have done?”
Lu Kang said nothing. He was being unreasonable.
Luosang looked at him sympathetically.
“I’m sorry, Mr. Nian. It’s all my fault.” Lu Kang had no choice but to take the fall for this incident.
“I’m deducting half a month of your salary. Go back and reflect on it. Leave,” Nian Junting ordered him coldly.
