Mo Jin was stunned but she was still smiling. “Right, a beast like him loves himself the most. Why? He didn’t want to take responsibility for you after playing with you? You have nothing to complain about though, you had a child long before you were with him, Yi Jingxi is even older than Luosang.”
“Xu Zhengxuan never touched me, never.”
Chu Lei turned to laugh. Half of her face was covered in blood, it was a gory sight. “He always only loved you, Mo Jin.”

Mo Jin’s cold expression froze.
“I’m serious.” Chu Lei knew that Mo Jin might not believe her but she insisted, “I was only a tool that he used to provoke you. Although he took me everywhere he went, he never once touched me. He wanted you to be jealous, he was calling out your name even when he was drunk.”
“Impossible.”
Mo Jin’s mind was blank. She tried hard to recall the series of events in the past but it had been too long. Everything had blurred into one. All she remembered was that Xu Zhengxuan fell in love with someone else and betrayed her. It was so difficult to cope with the hurt back then.She wouldn’t see her mother-in-law and her husband. She had quit school at a young age to have a child. She would only go to bed at around three in the morning every day while her husband was flirting with a female student.
What kind of life was she living then?

“Yeah, I was worried that something would happen to you. I sped all the way here.”
Yi Jingxi looked at her in disbelief, every step he took, he looked more lost and confused.

Chu Lei turned and looked down. Mo Jin looked at Yi Jingxi and looked at Chu Lei again, it made sense to her then.
Mo Jin asked, “Chu Lei, this was the lie that you fed your son?”
“I don’t know if you are telling me the truth or feeding me lies, but I know for a fact that you fancied Xu Zhengxuan back then. I only found out today that you already had a kid then, seems like you were married too.”
