“Is that so?” Nian Junting mulled over it for a moment. “You’re absolutely right.”
“…”
He was only speaking casually. “Mr. Nian, don’t take me seriously.” Lu Kang thought.
“Mr. Nian, what will you do next?”
“I’ll act innocent of course, then sneakily pretend to be humble, gentle and refined in front of my mother-in-law-to-be.” Nian Junting shot him a look. “Quickly gather Mo Jin’s itinerary for me.”
“What about Mo Liuxi?”
“No need. How annoying.”
Lu Kang was speechless. “Why?”
“Luosang mentioned that if she found her brother, she would dote on him excessively. Wouldn’t that put me in second place?” Nian Junting was troubled.
He did not expect Luosang’s brother to be this capable and talented. Why wasn’t he ugly at least?

Nian Junting let out a huge sigh.

Xiao Si got up early and rushed to work.

Xiao Si kicked open the door of Nian Junting’s office and stormed in. “You’re playing games with me. One moment you’re giving me all the work, and the next you’re taking it all away.”
Nian Junting’s gaze lifted from his computer screen and he crossed his arms. He spoke solemnly, “I’ve thought about it. If the company is to earn money and be one of the top fifty in the world, it’s going to be on me. Half a year has passed; we can hustle and earn thirty billion before the end of the year.”
Xiao Si looked at him incredulously, as if he were looking at someone with a psychiatric problem.
“Top fifty. You must have a problem.” Xiao Si looked at Lu Kang.
Lu Kang smirked as he looked out of the window.
“If we rely on you, we will have a problem, but it won’t be a problem with me,” Nian Junting said plainly. “Go on out, and don’t disturb my work.”
The Morrison family’s estate was in the global top hundred. As their son-in-law, he had to get to the top fifty.
Only then, would Luo continue to admire him.
And when they eventually got married, Mo Jin would ever so gratefully entrust Luosang to him and say, “Sang is so fortunate to have found you in her lifetime, Junting. You’re so outstanding.”
Xu Zhengxuan would say, “Son-in-law, you’re one in hundreds of millions. You’re perfect.”
Nian Junting’s lips curled into a smile. He was confident.

Nian Junting emerged from the Maybach in his suit. Lu Kang looked at him from inside the car. “Mr. Nian, are you alright? Will Mo Jin really not suspect a thing?”
“My acting is so good that even Luosang falls for it.” Nian Junting shot him a look, before stepping onto the platform.
Lu Kang looked at his haughty silhouette, secretly wishing that he’d slip and fall.
Entering the gala, Nian Junting quickly noticed Mo Jin talking to the guests in the crowd. He only came after Lu Kang had found out his schedule.
Tonight, he had to clear up all misunderstandings which Mo Jin had of himself.
