"I can," Ruan Chanchan replied calmly. She couldn’t deal with big beasts, but she could deal with these low-grade ones. She took out the dagger that she usually carried with her, and Xie Daiyu’s eyes lit up brightly when he saw the shiny dagger in Ruan Chanchan’s hand. He wanted to ask her where she got it from but stopped himself when he saw that Ruan Chanchan was concentrating hard.
Ruan Chanchan raised the dagger, and in swift seconds, she dealt with the boar lying in front of her. She handled the boar’s bones and internal organs in addition to cleaning the meat. Her skills were much better than the processing team, and she was able to collect a lot of hide.
"That should do the deal," looking at the hide that she had collected, Ruan Chanchan was satisfied. This boar was really big and had a lot of hide. Once the fur and everything else were cleaned, she could make use of the hide.
Ruan Chanchan smiled at the mer and said, "Thank you; with this hide alone, I will be able to deal with the problem at hand."
She was rather satisfied with the haul today. These things should be enough for them to last for a while.
Xie Daiyu nodded. He was quite happy that he was able to help Ruan Chanchan.
"What about the meat? Do you want to take it with you?" Xie Daiyu asked Ruan Chanchan.
Ruan Chanchan looked at the meat and nodded. "Let’s take it. I will make bacon with this meat.
