There were no mirrors in this era, so Ruan Chanchan had no other choice but to run out of the cave and take a look at her face in the small pond that was outside the cave. The water was murky, but she could still see her reflection in it. Even though the reflection was not clear, she could still see that her face had gotten slimmer and smoother. Her skin looked so bright that Ruan Chanchan was half certain that her face was now glowing in the pond.
