Yun Fu’s face turned red after hearing his rejection. She parted her lips to speak, but Xie Daiyu didn’t give her the opportunity. He turned around on his feet and then headed up the rocky trail. Behind him, Yun Fu’s green eyes turned red. She looked at Xie Daiyu with a hint of reluctance.
Even though she was rejected, Yun Fu didn’t want to give up on Xie Daiyu. Her frustration with the hurt of being rejected reached its peak, and she ended up bursting into tears.
"Yun Fu, there is no need to cry." A sturdy woman walked over. She patted Yun Fu on the shoulder and said to her, "I told you. Did I not? It’s stupid to propose to someone like Xie Daiyu. "Won’t I tear your tongue out of your mouth if you dare to?" Yun Fu snarled at the woman before marching away.
"Not the tongue! My mers will have your head if you touch my tongue. It’s magical, as they like to tell me."
The woman watched her friend walk away without looking at her. Even though the woman knew that Yun Fu said those words angrily, she knew that Yun Fu was not lying. If she made the mistake of bad-mouthing Xie Daiyu once again, she would surely lose her tongue.
And given that her tongue was useful in more than one way, the woman had no intention of losing it.
Yun Fu let out a snort as she continued walking away.
Far away from the two women, Ruan Chanchan was peering out through the leaves that were large enough to cover her entire body. With Xiao Xi by her side, she stared at Yun Fu, who was crying, sobbing and walking. "Asking for meat in exchange for a pack of instant noodles... wasn’t that a proposal that you were going to propose to him?" Xiao Xi asked with a frown.
Ruan Chanchan choked upon hearing his remark. She said to him, "That’s two different things. How can you make such a mistake?"
Xie Daiyu, who was walking past the trail, paused when he heard Ruan Chanchan’s voice. He frowned and turned to look at the woman who was half hiding behind the large Aruacarioxylon leaves. He frowned when he saw her talking to herself and wondered if this was because the woman was not doing well.

Her eyes widened, and her heartbeat started to skitter. Before she knew it, she had poked the muscles once and then twice and then thrice.
Don’t blame her. In her past life, she was too busy making money, as no one was there to take care of her. As punishment for taking his family for granted in her previous life as Mo Qiang, she never got another chance to live a life where she would get the love of her family.
